Jun 28th, 2014 - 11:16 am - Link - Report abuse 0I cannot believe there are ministers (or VP''s) who bribe people.
Whatever next, robbing the government to put into their own accounts?
Ha, ha, ha.
If it true then he's a pretty canny operator.
Jun 28th, 2014 - 11:16 am - Link - Report abuse 0Printing pesos is an extremely lucrative business when you consider how many have been printed recently.
Being as its Argentina, my money is on the Judge and or his family being involved in an accidental car-crash or similar sometime soon.
Jun 28th, 2014 - 12:45 pm - Link - Report abuse 0This shows that CFK has no power left.

Jun 28th, 2014 - 02:26 pm - Link - Report abuse 0... or she has some reason for throwing Boudou under the bus - a deflection away from her own actions, or perhaps Boudou wasn't showing due deference, or carrying out financial 'dirty work' to her satisfaction??
Time for all of them to close ranks. he will more than likely be found not guilty as he probably knows too much.
Jun 28th, 2014 - 03:26 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@6 Yes. He is the fall guy.
Jun 28th, 2014 - 04:10 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I don't think so, I think she lost the plot on this and it has gotten away from her.
Jun 28th, 2014 - 04:27 pm - Link - Report abuse 0If he goes down he's bringing people with him.
Its not long before she's completely out of power.
She is hanging on with her claws now.
@9 You are right that if he goes down he will sing like a canary.

Didn't think they had a VP with CFK doing all the talking
Now that the case is over, can he not just ask to meet the judge and begin negotiations? No! So why are they trying that in the US?

Jun 29th, 2014 - 04:18 am - Link - Report abuse 0Could be Boudou himself who has an accident to prevent him from spilling the beans on cfk
Can we assume he has Spanish roots? As in the case of the Spanish government and royals, corruption is in the blood...of course he may be completely innocent (mmm)
Jun 29th, 2014 - 05:48 am - Link - Report abuse 0He'll get let off-the judge will be offered a ride on Boudou's Harley Davidson and slip off the back by accident.
Jun 29th, 2014 - 12:08 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Let's try a new option. 15 years in a hole in the ground. Hauled out every day for 500 lashes. Real lashes with imbedded blades. Maybe stop when the spine can be seen from the neck to the coccyx? Just so's CFK knows what's coming to her!
Jun 29th, 2014 - 02:38 pm - Link - Report abuse 0This looks good in the eyes of the world I am sure. And he still hasn't resigned or been told to resign or fired. Unbelievable....
Jun 29th, 2014 - 04:31 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I can't think of an occupation that would prepare you for prison more than being a member of the Argentine government.
Jun 29th, 2014 - 10:04 pm - Link - Report abuse 0His name will be be bubbles and he will be walking funny in a few months.
Disgraceful behaviour if found guilty.

Sorry to pour some water in the wind of a few--especially the lashing guy's--but last time I checked, a trial needs to occur before anyone is declared guilty...or not guilty.
Jun 30th, 2014 - 06:54 am - Link - Report abuse 0Armando Boudou has been charged, and as any reasonable person knows, anybody is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Evidence presented must go through checks and balances, and the outcome is not guaranteed.
No doubt the perception is bad and a good part of the public opinion has already gone ahead of the verdict.
However, as I said, watch out what comes next and see how solid the accusation reveals to be.
...to gain control of the company that was given contracts to print the Argentine peso...
Jun 30th, 2014 - 05:17 pm - Link - Report abuse 0A contract to print pesos! That has got to be a lucrative contract indeed....

Jun 30th, 2014 - 07:50 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Scandalous enough that there is enough evidence to formally charge him.
Motive, Opportunity.
Any Minister in a civilised Democracy - Canada, UK, Oz, NZ etc., facing such charges, would at the very least, be suspended - most likely forced to resign.
'Business as usual' in Argentina though...
He is on his way to impeachment. Has Casa Rosada commented yet? The lack thereof speaks volumes. The government is being hammered from so many angles it is incapacitated to respond to anything. The life of lies, corruption and mis-management.
