Brazilian industrial output fell for the third straight month in May despite efforts from government to prop manufacturing through stimulus measures. Industrial production in Brazil fell 0.6% in May from April, and 3.2% from the same month a year ago, and 1.6% in the five months of 2014, government statistics agency IBGE said on Wednesday. The auto industry actually contracted. It is normal. We have to adapt it to our situation without relying on other countries for the growth of the automobile industry.

I can not see problems in the Brazilian economy. Brazil is building the world's best logistics infrastructure, the pre-salt reached 500,000 barrels of oil.

Two new refineries are coming on stream which will prevent the importation of fuel that will add 25 billion dollars in trade surplus.

Payrolls grow by month and generating more consumption and taxes. Generating cash for the government to continue the excellent work of transforming Brazil.

Honestly, we're so much better than England and other English-speaking or European.

The situation isn Brazil is catastrophic, rampant corruption and recession. Brasileiro must be talking about Norway... Pré-sal is a lie, all that the Brazilian government says about Petrobrás cannot be trusted and frankly, the truth is not good! Brazilians are silent, sad and hopeless while the corrupts shout the economy is doing wonderfully well... Dilma together with her gang is already reelected because because the voting machines are already programmed.

Brasileiro you are a PT lapdog, open your eyes and see the true situation which is that Brazil is in big trouble presently and under a PT led governemnet will only continue to worsen. That is the reality. Brazil will keep on going backwards relative to most other countries (except the likes of Argentina which is not much of a victory).

“Brazilian manufacturing has remained largely unresponsive to a string of more than two dozen government stimulus initiatives launched over the last three years as it struggles with fierce competition from abroad, high tax and labor costs, and poor infrastructure.”

What can you expect from a bunch of commies who are as corrupt as the previous mob ad infinitum? Lying seems to be a way of life for these people, especially The Liar Mantega who is only the Finance Minister FFS!

Messing with Mr. Market with two dozen tweaks is never going to work: get the lazy bastards in a job to work harder or else, reduce the tax burden across the board and DO something with the infrastructure especially around the major ports. But above all TELL THE TRUTH.

It's happened. We all thought one of the stadiums might collapse due to hasty building work in Brazil but instead one of the flyovers has collapsed instead.

The Viaduct (suspended subway) is still under construction.

The only thing that happened was their stupidity combined their desire to see blood dripping.

My condolences for their poor desires.

    A Brazilian claims:
“Honestly, we're so much better than England and other English-speaking or European.”

    An Aussie replies:
    BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The stupid Marxist Monkeys running Brazil will continue to devalue their currency thereby driving up inflation, so they have to devalue more...and round and round she goes until Brazil looks like Argentina.

    @ 10 Brasso

It isn't me who is having to fund the corruption in your “ruling” party: it's YOU.

Why is it that SA only have RULERS and not LEADERS?

Do you suppose that comes from when you were ruled by Portugal and you just cannot understand the negative mindset that this breeds?
