So nice to see Xi Jinping wearing the Venezuelan presidential sash.
Jul 22nd, 2014 - 08:25 am - Link - Report abuse 0Finally Maduro accepts that Venezuela is now a vassal state of China.
So glad they escaped the clutches of that dastardly US Empire.
I assume this South America tour is nothing more than the ruler making sure the new Chinese colonies are all happy little campers all snug in their beds.
Jul 22nd, 2014 - 12:24 pm - Link - Report abuse 0If this keeps up, then surely one would have to rename some parts of south America , to suit the Chinese takeaway ..

I wonder how much they 'trousered' in US$$ on the QT?
Currently the 'hard-left' is splitting with the current Admin as they realise that the 'revolution' is a con. They feel betrayed. They have renamed it the 'robalucion'. Which doesn't really need translating...
Meanwhile an Opposition Mayor has been shot by the Chavistas... not to mention the continuing daily death and destruction. By appproximating last year's figures we can extrapolate that roughly 65-70 persons in Venezueala, (pop. 28 mill. est.), died a violent death solely during Xi Jinping's visit. Not to mention the rapes, muggings, car-jackings and kidnappings.
Yup, in ONE day!
Also, just to highlight;
only some 10% of Venezuela's arable land is under cultivation
Why is this? In a country where people will queue for 2-3 hours for bread or chicken?
Where the is NO flour to make the National Dish of Arepas?
What sort of economic management is this? They have huge oil wealth and a Carribbean coastline... yet are falling back into the Dark Ages...
I need to stop before my blood actually boils!!
Thank you chaps,
