Here's why the “above-rate” British growth:

    Pirates will be pirates.

And oh Spain was right. Gibraltar is indeed a lawless gang-smuggling haven.

EU has just declared a British run territory a lawless gang ridden smuggling center and that's all you two have to say?

    You act almost... argentinianly.

No, Titi Boy Envious of Argentina.com, just declared it that.

Which only just makes the news all that more satisfying.

“Organised crime gangs may be smuggling ....”

    May be!

    “.... found potential links...”

    Potential!

“... include indications of the involvement of organised crime...”

    Indications!

    For some

Yes - the organised crime gangs are SPANISH. Recently, in La Linea, a Spanish policeman was arrested under suspicion of being a cigarette smuggler.

Alistair Nigel (EUian) should learn not to jump to conclusions!

I think its worth focusing on what the article is saying and avoid responding to the noise.

'This was also the case for Britain, a member of the European Union but not of the Euro zone, “where growth momentum remains above-trend rates'

Great job Britain a growing economy at rates above most other western countries.

    ...

Good news for the UK. You're past your pre-crisis peak, but beware the errors of the past.

    @9

It is a half-lie at least. A lot of those numbers are fabricated. That's not me saying it, that's tons of British citizens in YOUR newspaper comment sections, in UK Yahoo answers, and other Fora.
