    It seems that Samper is a very suspicious individual - a very controversial individual in his own country and, at one time, suspected to be in cahoots with the Cali “cartel”.

    Is there honour amongst thieves?

    Time for Unasur to get real and disown Argentina's illegitimate Falkland sovereignty claims.

    @2 Unasur won't do that - President Correa, president of its host country, is anti-British anyway. He gave asylum to suspected rapist Assange in the Ecuadorian Embassy in London.

    Correa is anti-British because he gave Assange political asylum?

    If you support the torture and illegal activities wikileaks has discovered, its fine, but at least be honest.

    Best thing Correa (the US killed my dad and drug dealing isn’t even illegal) did was to give the self-serving toss pot ‘asylum’ in London. He now claims to have a heart condition after two years in the broom cupboard and will ‘leave’ soon.

    I hope he does, problem is the choices for him seem to be:

    1) Give himself up to the British Police and deal with the fallout, including Sweden and he claims, the US;

    2) Have a large diplomatic bag made that he can hide in and convince Correa to send a diplomatic private plane to Heathrow to get him out of the country;

    3) Die.

    He won’t do 1), he is too much of a coward. Correa won’t do 2), he’s sick to the back teeth of him. We might all be lucky and the bastard will die.

    @4 Felipe

    I don't believe I said “Correa is anti-British because he gave Assange political asylum”. Correa is anti-British is what I said, he is also anti-American!
