Brazil's rapid religious transformation is having an impact on the country's tight presidential race, where abortion and gay marriage have emerged as hot issues and Pentecostal televangelists are political power brokers. Read full article

    The 'God Vote', the Devil's in the detail. Ha, ha, ha.

    The Pastor seems to be wearing a gold watch, just can't make out if it is a Rolex.

    Still, he deserves it, saving all those souls for the 'life thereafter' AND he has 800,000 Twits following him.

    Ah, the delusions of God: always so close to those who have very little, they probably think it's a safer bet than the lottery.

    The Marxist (they REALLY 'believe in God') and the climate change nutter: Brazil deserves both of them.

    Rousseff was a 'Red Brigade'-type international terrorist during those years.
    This is well documented and has been described on Merecopress.

    She may well have been a Marxist - many international terrorists were;

    as to whether she was a guerrilla fighting heroically against the military dictatorship - this was not her terrorist cells' main activity.
    She has spun it so in the later years (just like she spun her economics higher degree qualification).

    The 'people' like and vote for Marxist guerrillas;
    they do not like and vote for international terrorists.

    But it would be a very brave Marina Silva were she to explain the nuance to the electorate.

    President Dilma is neither religious, nor a regular religious service attendee.

    Only when politically opportune, such as the current election campaigning. If she were not running scarred of Marina Silva, Dilma would not even bother to show up.

    Our voting card and 2 forms of ID: That's all that is required. 4 days to go.

    Dilma DumboAss Demon, as well as Lula the overgown Toad, have never shown any religious inclination.......it's up to those who do believe in their professed faith, to see through the farce being enacted by the PT opportunists....

    Thanks for the post, I never realised that Dilma was an international terrorist per se and I have a recollection of seeing the word Marxist attached to her.

    Did she actually go outside the borders of Brazil to carry out acts of terrorism or was it confined to murdering the US Military Officer in front of his wife and children?

    You know, the one her cell did which ‘she knew nothing about’ making her a liar or incompetent.

    “But it would be a very brave Marina Silva were she to explain the nuance to the electorate.”

    How many of the electorate would understand the ‘nuance’?

    Would it pay in Brazil to know that Obama's the son of satan? It's a detail they're forgetting when they project the economy and society after 4 years of the administration that put in place equal marriage and abortion. I mean Dilma's regime.

    Hi Chris.

    The national cells of the Red Brigade and its clones operated within their own countries, frequent with USSR funding and arms. They killed US/UN people as well as their own nationals, within their own nations - as did the cells managed by Rousseff in Brasil.
    I know you saw the documents on the internet (before they mysteriously disappeared.)

    Silva could get away with the expose if she is getting enough Evangelical support to put her close enough to victory in the first/second rounds.
    She must win the North East as well as SP/Rio.
    My fear is that there may be another 'death' (like the one that put her in the race in the first place) if she plays this card.

    [Remember Lula/Amorim and now Dilma are still refusing extradition to Italy of another international terrorist - 'the Armed Proletariat for Communism' = Red Brigade, Cesare Battisti, with at least four killings to his name. Why? Warped belief and The international Marxist link.]

    @6 Chris
    In 1967, 7 years after a group of Brazilian communists had been to Cuba to be trained in the art of urban guerrila warfare and assassinations, bomb making, etc, Dilma joined a communist inspired movement in RGSul ; in 1968/9, before being arrested, she participated in bank robberies, the planning of the assassination of US Army Captain Charles Chandler, an assault on the house of the then Governor of S.P., two assaults on different army barracks to rob arms and ammunition....and those, are only the 'known' crimes. She's quick to change the subject when it comes to her criminal activities, yet she brags about the 3 years she spent in jail, where she claims, she was tortured. Even if she was, she got off lightly.

    She and many top officials in her Government...and ironically, so is her Human Rights Minister...for whatever that's worth in Brazil.
    No doubt you have heard about the “mensalão”, the scheme created by Lula and other PeTistas, to skim off money from State controlled companies, in order to form a slush fund (of several billion dollars), with the objective of paying off memebers of Congress to always vote with the PT.....Two top PeTistas, José Genoíno and José Dirceu, accused of mentoring the whole thing, are currently serving (ridiculously light) prison terms. Lula, despite his obvious involvement, was let off the hook when Congress, dominated by the PT and their allies, decided against indicting him.
    All the recent scandals involving Petrobrás, are a result of the company's political use during the Lula years, not to mention the outright bribes and stealing, which have transformed the oil giant into the only oil company in the world, to make a loss, and cause it's shares to sink to below 20% of their worth of 5 years ago.
    Another 4 years of that PT scum is the worst thing that could happen to Brazil. but all you need to do is to take a good look at the profile of the majority of the voters - ignorant and too stupid to realize what the future reserves, as long as they get their monthly handout - and it's easy to see how that can and probably will happen.
