If you ask people in the industry , the 7% drop is due to catches having to be thrown away because of constant strikes by various unions in the ports .
Not having a navy doesn't help , because foreign factory trawlers can enter Argentine waters unimpeded and hoover the seas clean .

Is there any tonnage that is NOT landed in Argentina?
Does any significant tonnage get diverted straight to Korea and China without being counted in Argentina's annual landings?
