Spain was invited to go to the ICJ by the UK over the Isthmus, status of Gibraltar, territorial waters and airspace back in 1969 but declined. That means that Spain has acquiesced to British possession. Also, Spain and the UK have both ratified the Helsinki Accord that categorically states 'that borders in Europe can only be changed ''with consent.'' Spain therefore has 'no case.' His words are empty and merely propaganda.

A trip to spain was marred by the death, by drowning, of a waitress in a next-door hotel because it thought a below ground-level dining room was a 'good' idea. Especially when, due to heavy rain, the pool overflowed.

Spain is a declining and collapsing country, Turkey is a rising power with a significant role to play in the Middle East and the most pragmatic and secular of Muslim countries (not enough in my opinion but still)

Fact is, the ICJ has already determined that the right to self-determination is jus cogens (compelling law). By your standards, unless indigenous natives, all people in north and South America are squatters. Countries as per GDP world ratings - UK 6th, RG land 27th. RG land doesn't even merit a position in the G20. Lol.

What impact would 4,000 volunteers make especially when 16,000,000 British and American troops were fighting in Western Europe? Practically nothing.
Interesting to note that Argentina submitted a Falklands sovereignty claim in 1941 (cowards), the first one received since 1888.

The US played a more significant role in the Pacific, then dropped atomic bombs on them to finish the last bit of their war.
Lend-Lease and war loans were fully repaid by the British, but it broke Britain's back to do so and caused the split up of Empire. A very short-lived empire by comparison to all the empires that when before and came after.

If you wanna know what a contribution looks like Paul, try countries like Australia. With a population of 7 million, or half Argentina's, we contributed 993,000 service people.
Of those, over 40,000 died. Or nearly 0.6% of our population. Our deaths were TEN TIMES your entire contribution.
