More deflection, shit-stirring and evasion from the Argentine Government.

They have no concept of responsibility and are setting a very bad example to the youngsters.
I hope they get their come-uppance.

Ok. Now I may be an American but I am no lawyer. Can someone tell me where you go to sue a US Federal judge? Lololololol

They also have no concept of US law that they agreed to abide by. Then again they also agreed to pay back all that they borrowed........

Some of the bondholders previously filed amicus briefs in some of the other pleadings seeking the release of funds. So, in effect, what Jorge is proposing has already been done and as the record indicates - failed. This is strictly for local consumption.

Jorge: Your Gringo Amigos salute you for your effort at SPIN!
    SALUTE!

I'm still awaiting the Argentines arresting, charging and imprisoning folks connected with the Falklands oil industry, after all, they promised us they would take them to court two years ago (or was it four years ago)?

Pete 16 - just what I thought as I read the article- Judge Griesa must be shaking in his boots as he rolls on the floor with laughter!
Does everyone in the Argentine Govt insist on their new national tradition(it used to be the tango and fine wines and good beef) of foot shooting - preferable both barrels at both feet together?

    13. When another series of bonds goes into default. Like Today.

That's why they had to get the Chinese $ yesterday. Even China won't loan to countries in default.

CaptainDismal: TMBOA must have searched far and wide to find this idiot.

He even makes Gollum look half competent.

I wonder if he really thinks any sensible person will take this “advice”.

“Argentina tells bondholders to take legal action against Judge Griesa who is 'withholding funds'

What the 'Captain' really meant to say was:
”Argentina tells bondholders to go to hell!”

So what's happening with Citibank in Argentina ? Is the government going to arrest them and put them in jail ? (could pose a logistical problem and would certainly be a first, but this government has already filled both feet with lead projectiles - who would even notice another one ?)

A fart from FART of FARTLAND. Maybe he'll be 'snipered' soon. NO judge, in any civilised country, can be sued. On the other hand, Capitanich can be shot. By a sniper. Who has the best snipers? UK or US? As long as the pointless content is splattered. Then Timerman. Then Kirchner. Then Kicilloff. No problems, girlies. Just wait. You're already dead. Just a matter of timing!

So, let me get this right ...
Argentina is saying “Get the money from the American judge, 'cos we won't pay it”.

The more things change, the more they stay the same:
In 1842 Argentina offered to exchange its claim to the Falklands for the annulment of the Barings debt. (A loan taken out by the Argentine government in the 1820s from Barings Bank in London, on which Argentina had suspended payment).

In 1842 when the request was made the Baring loan was so long in arrears that with accumulated interest it was worth around 2 million pounds!http://www.falklands.gov.fk/assets/Outdated-GettingItRight.pdf

Argentina’s offer was not accepted but the story demonstrates that Argentina has been a dead beat debtor for a long, long time!
