Disclaimer & comment rulesWell it would seem finally that things are starting to change in South America. Clearly, Colombia has no concerns about hosting the hated British and the Royal Navy even though it has been expressly forbidden by Argentina. It's nice to see at least one Latam country not having their foreign policy dictated by others.

You can't a string a proper sentence together. You can't argue any point AT ALL. You are only left with vacuous posts that, to any person with half an ounce of understanding personality disorders can see, boils down to an emasculated, depressed and lonesome person. You think you write insults and yet all we see are pleas for help and attention. Because you are one of the ones that didn't make it. You never skilled up enough to actually leave Argentina or even profit in its current situation.
This website is about as good as your day gets. It isn't even that great a site but it's all you have to fill your empty days. And wait.... coz there's more! The best bit?
You can't leave. You've become dependent on us. You are like an Indian Call Centre worker..... without the call centre.
You exist solely so people like myself, who are superior to you in so many ways, can actually showcase that superiority. You don't exist to make a point. Or to argue the other side. Or even to highlight something important.

@3, 7. What a dozy arsie. Do you 'think' that all Brits are in the Falklands? Actually, many are in the UK. Occasionally, we like to remind you that we can wipe you off the face of the planet. Shoot your mouth off if you like. Got anything for the sea that floats the right way up? Fancy the Royal Navy turning up offshore? We know your destroyers submerge. What do your submarines do? Sorry, just the one, isn't it? Seen the effect of 200 cruise missiles? We can do that. Which of your aircraft can get into the air before the wings fall off? Seen the effect of 640 nuclear warheads? We can do that. And then the land forces come ashore. The TAM versus Challenger 2 main battle tanks. Like a Mini facing a bulldozer. But do try to keep your spirits up. National pride is wonderful. Trouble is, you have nothing to be proud of. Unless it's the speed at which you can run 2 miles. Just shows what argies are like. Totally divorced from reality. Every time you post, more people hate argieland. And YOU encourage it. Think we wouldn't? You didn't think we'd sail south in '82. Now we don't have to sail. Check out what we can fly in. Face it. You're all mouth and no trousers. Does the US ask for your support? Only for cleaning latrines!

Ho hum. So sad.
As for the plaque (thank God it wasn't a plague - a native English speaker would have picked that up instantly), while it was unveiled by Prince Charles, it was the mayor that had it placed there. Not the Prince.
And it is still there. If the mayor wants to waste tax payer's pesos on paying for a plaque and then removing it; that is his choice.
So much for your pathetic posts. Ta tah!

You seem to be taking a very odd view of things for an Aussie
What is interesting about this plaque is that it ONLY honors the British soldiers who died trying to invade Cartagena from the Spaniards under the command of Edward Vernon. No mention of Colombian or Spanish soldiers who died defending the city under the great military command of General blas De Leso.
Nov 07th, 2014 - 01:28 pm - Link - Report abuse 0It is like if the Argentine Government unveiled a plaque ONLY honoring the Argentine soldiers who tried to invade The Falklands/malvinas and placing the plaque in Tralfalgar Square!!!!! ummmmmmmmmmmm

Seems mighty odd that a loyal member of the British Commonwealth such as this so-called 'aussiesunshinee' is so vehemently anti-British.
Nov 08th, 2014 - 09:37 pm - Link - Report abuse 0On a happier note Commander Hammond said: “It is a great hono[u]r for me to bring HMS Argyll and my ship’s company to Cartagena and further strengthen the good relationship between our countries. ”It is also an hono[u]r to be included in their Royal Highness’ visit to Colombia and to welcome them and the President and First Lady onboard.”
I heard no cries from the Colombians about any'militarisation of the Carribean'. In fact the they couldn't do enough to make them welcome.
Which bodes well for the area in general, and certainly quashes any insane ideas Venezuela may have regarding its spurious claims over the so-called Zona en Reclamación in Guyana, a Member of Her Majesty's British Commonwealth.
Go on, just 'Google' it. Venezuealan school children are brainwashed on the subject in a depressingly similar manner as Argentine kids are over the 'malvina' fantasy beloved by their great leader, and Maduro's ideological bed-fellow, the fragrant Krass-tina.
At least there is hope for Colombia.
Meanwhile the Royal Navy has been helping to 'clean-up' the Carribean;
