Nov 08th, 2014 - 03:24 pm - Link - Report abuse 0But why teachers? Perhaps their social (politics) training was seen as a threat to the drug cartels and corrupt agencies.
Terrible thing to happen but why are none of us surprised?
Nov 08th, 2014 - 03:47 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Mexico wants to be like the other cesspit, Brazil, a First World country. It just underlines how far from reality both countries are.

Nov 08th, 2014 - 04:48 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The trainee-teachers had been involved in a peaceful protest. They got arrested.
The local politicians didn't like this 'dissent' and ordered the corrupt police to hand them over to the drug-cartels for 'disposal'.
Those politicians later went on the run....
A really ugly and sad story.
We heard of this here in the united kingdom on the news.It really does show that Mexico is a very very dangerous country,Can understand why many many mexicans are trying to escape to the USA.Mexico does seem to be in control of the drug cartels.Mexico is as dangerous as syria/and iraq..As seems the cartels run mexico, murdering student teachers because the govener told police to hand over for the killing and burning.Really do hope justice will prevail and all sentenced to long jail terms.Bad ass alround.

Would just like to mention that there are many peaceful and safe areas in Mexico. Most of the violence is region specific. If you research it before you go, one can enjoy a very pleasant, safe and welcoming visit to Mexico.
