CFK is stupidly throwing subsidies at both ends of production to keep the lines going. Pretty soon these subsidies will be gone and so will the production.
I wonder which Mfg will leave first?

As Mr Think will shortly confirm this is all part of the Kirchners' master plan to heal the economy and ensure Argentinas return to being a major economic power.

I suppose “when” would be an interesting question.

After Argentina's shock victory against a depleted Australian RU team they couldn't quite avoid a whipping by the Scots yesterday, who, like the Aussies, were reduced to 13 players by some awful refereeing.

The two Sistahs have never been right about anything. Not once. In all the time I've been on here.
You'd think they'd be embarrassed enough to stop posting but they just double down and pretend they don't look like knobs.

Even in 'the good times' the exports from TDC are nothing short of abysmal.

An average of 28,969 per month for the last TEN months for the WHOLE of the argie motor industry for the whole of the world makes me wonder why the manufacturers bother. However that represents 56% of total build. The volumes being made in TDC are so piss poor I just cannot see how ANY car company is making a profit. The answer is they cannot when suffering production rates at LESS than 62% of the same period just one year ago.

It reminds me of the bad old days of the UK motor industry. The Mini COST BL £5.00 per car leaving the factory (and a fiver was money then) and when, at an engineering forum for the industry I asked the question: why don’t you put the price up, I was howled down that the car wouldn’t sell then.

So being me, I asked the obvious question: well why sell it anyway because if it does take off (which everybody knew it would) BL will be broke? The answer (from the BL guy) was ‘that will never happen’.

But it did. And the rest as they say is history.

    7. Without the subsidies they can't be making money, plus the hassle of getting U$ out, the parts interruptions, lazy and entitled employees they must be getting ready to close up shop.
I can't see why anyone would mfg in Argentina.
    Lose lose

Venezuela 2.0, but with out the PDVSA oil slush-funds. Doesn't bode well. Soon the will be zero car mfg in Argentina.
    WTF are they playing at?
Is there a new book out called “Destroying Your Economy For Dummies”?
Must be a best-seller in Arg & Ven.

I have come to believe they are deliberately destroying the country.
I've not figure out why, it could be to make the next Prez job impossible and she got the timing wrong so its now falling on the K legacy.

    Otherwise its anyone guess.

Why is Chavism destroying Venezuela? Could be the same reason why Kirchnerism is destroying Argentina.

The End is Nigh...the end is nigh I say....

UK engine manufacturing output fell 21.8% in August to 97,406 units...
UK commercial vehicle production fell by 1,642 units. Year-to-date output down 24.6% to 45,928 units, but greater stability expected in coming months.

Automobile production in Brazil fell 18 percent in May compared to the same month of last year.

    ....yeah so what.....

If you check the YOY reduction for yourself you will find it's 25.8%, an error of 8.76%.

I thought most people reading this would have spotted the arithmetic was incorrect but clearly not.

I don't think Sistah understands math very well and has obviously never worked in a job that required to know how to make a profit.

Plus she's the only one talkin' 'bout Brazil.

I think she's lonely up at 1am posting on an anonymous web site to people that think she's a crazy ol' knob.
    Kinda sad

No friends no family up all night drinking and trolling?

    Sad little Sistah.
    Maybe you should visit Chubut.
