Now THAT's how you deal with poachers! Indonesian navy blows up illegal foreign fishing vessels in spectacular fashion after confiscating ships and arresting crew
2GCT - Why would anyone want to interfere with operations in someone else,s EEZ? Now send an Arg vessel fishing into the FI zone without a licence and the following is what we do:
Arrest your vessel -firing at it if it refuses to stop after a warning shot.
Seize and confiscate the catch AND all the fishing gear-that is the hard bit to replace.
Tale the captain and Owners to Court and fine them heavily.
If they refuse to pay then the vessel is stripped of all fuels and contaminants, and valuables - taken out to see and scuttled.
2. Argentina wouldn't even know if they did. Your radar doesn't work, there's no fuel for either air or ships to go much further than 12 miles out of your coastline.
The government of Tierra del Fuego reported the suspension of fishing license to a company accused of having links with other operating with British leave in the exclusion zone set by that country around the Falkland Islands.
