    Interesting facts are always better,

interesting to hear, that despite all Argentina and CFK tries to block and bar the Falkland's,
that trade and industry is up,
    yet on Argentina its down,

so someone is obviously doing silly things,
poor CFK the more she tries , the more she fails,,the better the British Falkland's get..

The American Associated Press reported that the Falkland Islands are located in the North Atlantic a couple of days ago, everybody knows where Malvinas Islands are though, Argentina of course.

Really doesn't matter where people think the Falkland Islands are......

    They're not in Argentina.

Hurts a little, doesn't it Marcos.

“blablabla...and our agriculture industry remains firm.”

    yeah, right...lol
what agriculture industry is this asshole talking about?
to have agricultural industry, first you have to have fertile lands, like the ones you can find in the pampa húmeda region, the most fertile lands in the world.
pretty different from those islets, huh?

”Inevitably, everyone's minds are on the hydrocarbons industry as we look to a new round of activity in 2015, but we must prudent as we take strides to ensure we develop an industry in harmony with the Falklands way of life.”

translation: with the new oil prices, nobody will give a shite for the tiny little oil well they have in the islets.

It's odd that Pauliecondom and Marcunt have such a terrible view of the islands fertility and weather but are so desperate to get their lying, thieving hands on them.

Odd also, that given this infertility and natural disadvantage the islanders can have one of the highest GDP per capita in the world, successful fisheries, farming and hydrocarbons industries and successful tourism...

Whereas in Argentina there is corruption, starvation, and indoctrination.

Oh well....if only they could steal the Malvinas it would all be ok.

Marcos/Paulei, Idiots - different climates to the pampas! But how do our camp lands compare with southern Santa Cruz province? How is farming there now?

Oil prices - they go up and down - who knows where they will be in 12 months - YOU do not!
And as has been explained to you many many many times - our economy and future is NOT dependent on oil - its good while the drilling goes no but we are not basing our income on an oil industry as we indeed do not yet know when we will have one - maybe 3 years maybe 10 maybe more - maybe never.

Paulcedron- OK please LIST the financial support the Islands receive from the British Taxpayer then?

I can tell you it is ZERO - Even the cost of defence has minimal affect on the British taxpayer - the number of personnel, ships, planes etc would be no different if they were here or all based back in Britain of anywhere else worldwide where British forces are.
And that is why the British military are likely to in fact Increase the numbers of army routing through the Islands for a few weeks at a time - because here they can do invaluable battlefield and multi force live fire training exercises that are very difficult to find the spaces to do elsewhere in the world.

Furthermore they woulkd not have come here in first place in 1982 if your nation had not used armed force to invade and has kept up the claim and threat ever since - yes the threat- your ministry of defence has always made it clear - the only thing that keeps your Argentine military out of the Islands even today is the prescence here of British forces to defend us.

Same old broken record, can you not find something different for 2015. Funny the UK always supports the underdog, especially when confronted by a belligerent neighbour. I would bet that perhaps 99% didn't know where THE FALKLANDS and Argentina were prior to 1982. Perhaps 75% know where THE FALKLANDS are now, thanks to the WAR with Argentina. If asked and given the explanation as regards the military being in the FALKLANDS the UK public would agree that is what should happen , after all the FALKLANDS are BRITISH.

@4, 8. Have you ever considered writing something worth reading?
@6, 16. Have you ever considered getting yourself an education? I'll give you a little help. Research the actual meaning of the word 'agriculture'.
And the UK actually spends about £80 million a year on the defence of the Falkland Islands. With OUR population of 64 million, that works out to about £1.25 for each of US per year. Even as a pensioner, that's not a problem. Actually, they can have £1.25 a month if they want. Very good value. Train OUR troops and protect OUR islands at the same time. For the same money we'd have to spend on them anyway! You do understand popular phrases like “Up north” and “Down south” don't you? They mean that the “North” is closer to Heaven, whilst “South” is closer to Hell. The Great and honest BRITISH taxpayer hardly notices how much he/she spends to support the BEST armed forces in the world and the BRITISH people who are willing to live so close to Hell. By the way, I'm not getting poorer. My own (paid for)house, my own (paid for) car, more (paid for) computers than you would believe, HUGE (paid for) tv, gardener, complete new telephone system (I've got 8 phones now), anticipating new external CCTV system, lovely rifles, 3 freezers, 2 fridges. Does that sound like poor? You know NOTHING about the GLORIOUS BRITISH. We have a little outpost. Just somewhere that you can look at. And envy. And 'hope' to achieve in a thousand years or so. Just as a thought, Britain can put 1200 troops, 8 aircraft, 3 naval vessels, missile systems on the Islands. For more than 30 years. Could argieland do anything similar? Troops that run, aircraft where the wings fall off, naval vessels that sink, missile systems. What missile systems? Perhaps you should pay more attention to your own crumbling 'country'. You have NOTHING to be 'proud' or 'complacent' about. You are scum. Best wishes to all on the Islands. Happy holidays. We have your back!

Something else for the Falkland Islands to look forward to.

HMS Queen Elizabeth Supercarrier sea trials begin in August 2016. Structural completion of HMS Price of Wales in July 2016.

Argentine navy still rusting in the docks and can only provide 14 functioning ships.

Paulecedron- well I was expecting your detailed reply by now? Ooops I forgot - you are a clueless village idiot who has no knowledge and can only print outdated and factually incorrect drivel.
A bit like of Marcos and his fascination for RKH- he is to dumb to realise that RKH are no longer really relevant to the Falklands - companies like Premier and Noble are though nowadays, after the next drilling round - who knows - we may have viable oil to develop - or we may not - the only thing we do know is that oil or no oil, our future will continue long term and Argentina will continue to have very little effect over us.

    @27
Premier and Noble would not invest in the FALKLANDS if they considered there was no oil. They will be looking to capitalise on their findings so far. Good luck to them and all FALKLANDERS.

    boludos:
premier oil and noble are insignificant in oil industry.
the only places where they can “invest” are in those tiny oil wells the big companies reject.
and taking in account that their probability of bankruptcy is +51%, it is not very relevant if they think there is oil or not in the islets.

To think had the Argentine leaders stayed with the agreement they could have been sharing in this years bonanza. They chose to leave because they wanted it all for themselves. I feel very proud of the achievements made this year by Islanders in spite of the continued pressure from the Argentines. Still it goes to show they think they can place an embargo on our shipping but forget we have access from all points of the compass not just that area opposite Argentina. How stupid can they be to think we will ever stop moving forward . Unlike them we do not live in the dark ages. Merry Christmas to all Falkland islanders and supporters of our cause . We are celebrating here in style because we can afford to. Wonder how many of the Argentine community is enjoying Christmas this year.

With the dropping oil price let's hope that Argentina drops its ridiculous claims and crawls into a corner and quietly dies.

FI will still be richest nation in South America but without the oil the potential wealth that CFK and her cronies massively drops.

    “you are right
your “economy” and future is dependant on the honest british taxpayer, period”

It's dependent on income generated by the FIG, from fishing at the moment, not from the British taxpayer-the Islanders don't sponge off Britain-that's Argentina's method of begging money..

But I don't mind paying £1.25 a year toward the defences.

I do object my taxpayer's money going to aid to Argentina as it will only get fiddled by your leaders.

    @31
“and what the fuck has ypf got to do with this issue, you imbecile?”
