It seems to be neither one thing nor the other. If you want something pastoral, fine. But why not recognise the “brothers” of the British Army, Royal Air Force and Royal Navy? Why not make a statement that the Falklands will fight? That it will build its defences? In the UK National Anthem, we celebrate our Head of State. In 'Rule, Britannia!' we celebrate the Royal Navy because it's a patriotic song and, at the time, the Royal Navy was Britain's primary and most effective armed force.

The Islanders already have their own national anthem-there is a copy somewhere on youtube-more of a folk song than the standard national anthem which makes it better in my view and is more descriptive of the Islands.

Please can you explain, exactly, in detail, what you believe happened in January 1833 as it appears to be the crux of your sovereignty claim.
If you will permit, I will go first, and you can correct with any historical inaccuracies.
-In November 1832, the crew of the SS Sarandi arrived, for the first time in the Falkland Islands under the command of Esteban Mestevier. The crew found the sparse remnants of the Vernet business of 20-30 people in a pretty poor state, under the leadership of the British Matthew Brisbane and the British William Dickson.
-As per their orders, they raised the flag of the United Provinces, and claimed (reclaimed?) sovereignty over the islands.
- Prior to the Sarandi leaving Argentina, Great Britain had warned the newly formed government of the UP that any attempt to take the Falklands would be countered.
- in December 1832, one month into their mission, the crew of the Sarandi mutineed. They murdered Esteban Mestevier and raped his wife in front of their children. His deputy Pinedo eventually restored order.
- in January 1833, the HMS Clio arrived. Captain Onslow ordered the crew of the Sarandi to vacate the islands. Not a shot was fired, and the crew (of 50) left peacefully. The Vernet business was encouraged to stay, although four of their number elected to take the passage back to the mainland.
-The islands have been under British control ever since, save the 1982 invasion.
Every piece of information given here is available in Argentina, and is an accurate account of the events of 1832-1833, BUT IS NOT what is taught to Argentine schoolchildren.

for my own part, I tried to make my point many threads ago to Pablo, that he was playing into the K's and Peronists hands by villifying the British and the Fslklanders.
I tried to draw an analogy for him that he was accepting bribes, money, benefits, whatever by doing whatever they wanted, and as a people they would eventually be forced to do the same for their new Chinese masters.
I called him a “CabanaBoy” and a “Prostituto”, as an analogy - that was totally lost on him - he took it in the literal sense only.
I will not pretend that I have any respect for Pablo. After all his racism and vulgarity, I am quite happy to make him feel foolish and angry, in turn.
I know now though, anything said to him is wasted.
I have NEVER seen him speak to anyone without insulting them personally or they're ethnicity.

We have the data for age-groups in the UK from the 2011 census. The easiest one of these age groups to use is 5-19 as it is most reflective of school age. In this category Muslims were about 7.5% in 2011. There are 11 million total in this category.
Because you bitched and whined, cried and yelped that 3-5 year olds were potentially in school (actually they are not) because it helped your “pyramid” argument...I included them...taking the total to 13million.
I am happy to t3-5 out and indeed 16-19 year olds...to get to your new number of 9million students in state and private education....it's quite simple.
So, back in 2011... The number of Muslims in the category of 5-16 out of a total population of 9million.....was....erm......around 650-700,000....erm...8%...erm nothing like 10%.
The number of Muslims who will have entered the group in the past 3 years by get orders will have come out of those who were in the 0-4 group....which were ....erm ...oh yes....8% again.
So in order for 8% to have grown into 10% of the population in three years you would need either
2% of 13 million (3-19 year olds)
2% of 11 million (5-19 year olds)
2% of 9 million (5-16 year olds)
And, yep, you've guessed it ...No where near that number have immigrated into the Uk.... Not even 20% of those numbers.

You have at least 23 K Muslims in Scotland (3,2% out of 713240 pupils). And I’m missing the % of Wales and N. Ireland. Wales has a smaller population but a higher % of Muslims than Scotland so it must be roughly the same input as Scotland of Muslims, but with less none Muslim pupils.
In all the student population of MOSTLY 2009 DATA is less than 8,5 MM. You would have a total Muslim population in 2011 of anywhere between 760K and 810K For it 8,5 MM population of pupils making the population of Muslims between 9 and 10 of all UK pupil population, now it should be bigger with all the immigrants.
