President Nicolas Maduro said on Wednesday he had secured a total of more than 20 billion dollars in investment from major creditor China for economic, social, and oil-related projects. Read full article
So funny. A 'country' with the world's largest proven oil reserves has to go cap in hand to China for 'credits'. If Venezuelans can't see what an arse this proves MADurine to be, they deserve all they get. 30 million people who can't get someone intelligent to govern!
It was unclear if part of the announced investments could include new loans, or whether the investments were part of existing oil-for-loans deals between Venezuela and its major creditor China.
Maduro is just earning some little time for his leftist shameful and parasitic government in exchange for giving away the future income of Venezuela.
The end is near.
More crude oil than Saudi Arabia?
36 million hectares of arable land, but only 3 million barely productive?
Going to China with a begging bowl?
Yet subsidising Cuba $9 billion annually?
Can no-one see that the wheels have come off the bus?
In Venezuela they are arresting people for taking photos of the lines on the street for bread and milk. I guess the dumb peasants are slowly waking up to the fact that they have been shafted.
Why the military embarrasses themselves and have not ended this is amazing. He must be paying them well. Oh yes......and they finger pring ID you to verify the two trips to the market.

Jan 08th, 2015 - 04:53 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Seems almost cute now. Haha Chavez set up one of the world's biggest ponzi schemes and Maduro and many Venezuelans fell for it.
I still can't work out whether there'll be a quick regime collapse with them absconding to Cuba or a civil war
Civil war....and it will be bloody.
