and the best 2014 shorthorn is, of course, argentinian, and we do not make all that noise for that.

    losers

International section - Covers every topic from the newsworthy: Royal navy stopping in Chile.
To the trivial: Bulls from Uruguay.
Yet misses the story of Fiji dropping the union jack from its flag.
Mercopress is based in England right ?

@1, 2. Hereford and Angus are, of course, in the UK.

So argies have been stealing again!

There are some lovely cattle in Uruguay and that is a fact.

The only cow the argies have is TMBOA and she needs to be butchered ASAP.

I think you will find this is covered in another posting. You pick a story that is of passing interest but no great deal to anyone in the UK .
An independent country decides to adopt a new national flag....shock ....horror !
The Canadians chose a new flag in 1965 and it made NO difference to their relations with the UK. It may also have escaped your notice that the Canadian Air force decided to revert to their historic title of Royal Canadian Air Force in 2011. I don't think that the UK had anything to do with this !

So with all the scandal coming from BA, you try to make something of passing interest into an important story. This is a government decision in Fiji and has no bearing on the feelings of the two peoples. I have been in Fiji and was surprised at their liking for their ex colonial rulers. Many Fijians have come to the UK to join the Army and have given sterling service. If you think the Gurkhas are scary imagine someone twice that size and a borne warrior .

Now, why don't you join in the topics about your crooked government .
Your Trolls have been unusually silent on these IMPORTANT subjects.

    1 paulcedron
Hereford; a fine Shire of England
    Angus; from Scotland
    hahaaha!

2 Vestige ~ “Mercopress is based in England right ?”
Dickhead! You have asked this question before. Can you not read? Or find the answer yourself?
    Try looking at the header of E V E R Y S I N G L E P A G E of Mercopress.
For example, (because you obviously need one), Today: Montevideo, February 4th 2015 - 18:03 UTC
Or you could try the link 'About Mercopress' in the Footer of E V E R Y S I N G L E P A G E of Mercopress. There is a handy link for those exceptionally hard of thinking that, (in the 2nd paragraph), usefully explains , “Based in Montevideo, Uruguay..”

This is why I don't normally converse with you.

Can't fix stoopid, as they say.

PS: Fiji is not in the South Atlantic, which you probably didn't know, which is why the Flag story is not exactly headline news.

jeez, you truly have the Government you deserve in your blighted nation.

“You have asked this question before” - no I haven't.
Is the question I asked known as a rhetorical question. hmmm.

Re: Fiji not in south Atlantic. Nor is Gibraltar, or China, or Morocco or Japan and Mercopress has featured stories from those places. And many others
Is that why theres an 'international' category ? :)

I think the Fiji story maybe wasn't featured because of the political leanings of the site owners.
Anyway - slow progress but good to see the Fijians standing up for themselves, hopefully others will follow their example in time. I saw a lot of Britons getting awfully upset about Fiji binning the union jack from their flag - lots of hateful bitter comments towards Fijians, lots of assumptions about GB giving them aid, and how they need to be kicked out of the armed forces and country. Why is that ?

oh go on then, I'll bite. Where did you see all this bile and hatred towards the Fijians?
Come on, give us link. Seeing it is so important to you (and affects your backwater not one little jot...)
Typically you are more excited about this quite natural progression than anyone else, and you have got completely the wrong end of the stick. “standing up for themselves” ??? If wasn't for the UK defending and supporting them, they might not have any legs whatsoever.
Equally I have respect and thanks to offer all those Fijians who have served in the Armed Forces, and I am sure they were glad of a job too.

PS: I really don't care whether or not Commonwealth countries feature the Union Jack on their flags because they are independent nations welcome to make their own decisions.
Which I will respect. Unlike Argentines who obviously do not respect anyone, least of all themselves.

Oh no! I decided to read a story about a SA bull and found out my fiji rugby shirt will soon be out of date. Oh, the dispair!!! How could I go on after this news??????.....

Oh, hang on, I couldn't care less. No suicide to see here, move along.

Mildly pleased and equally mildly interested.

Said rants featured on the Yahoo news UK site. Which I went to in order to see what reactions would take place, don't take the link as an indicator of my location, I use a VPN. Danke. Obrigabo.

    https://uk.news.yahoo.com/fiji-remove-union-jack-flag-pm-070759799.html;_ylt=ApEsvepjzmXoCSdS9vW8foASscB_;_ylu=X3oDMTI4dGxtZGEwBG1pdANNb3N0UG9wdWxhciBGUCBNaXhlZCBMaXN0BHBvcwMxBHNlYwNNZWRpYUJMaXN0TWl4ZWRNb3N0UG9wdWxhckNBVGVtcA--;_ylg=X3oDMTBhY2IwdWc5BGxhbmcDZW4tR0I-;_ylv=3#bXZU5l0

“Deport all Fijians, if they don't want anything to do with us fine let them get on with it and stop our aid to them. ”

Someones not happy, and such butthurt makes up a good 50% of the reactions.
But really, why such bitter reactions ?

    @11
not unexpected, but the bite was about as interesting as a three week-old lettuce leaf...
So you use Yahoo comment boards as a source of relevant infomation?
    Twat.
That is like coming here and saying Conqueror and paulcedron, (or god forgive, Tobi) are representative of their nations in general.
The article above regards “Hereford's best 2014 bull in the world is from Uruguay” and you want to digress into the fact that and independent nation wishes to change its flag?
    Get a life.
You should consider yourself honoured that I even deign to reply to you.
    ~ilsen
    PS: a VPN ?? really?
A Visible Panty Line? Not sure it will help you hiding behind something so flimsy....

enjoy the photos, and stop bothering the grown ups...

Solid counterpoints as ever, the “twat” using the “Visible Panty Line” will stop bothering the grown ups.

keep watching for flag changes... just in case you can use them to back-up your ridiculous comments... such as...
“ooh Fiji changed its flag and some birds migrate to the Falklands...”
Therefore Argentina's colonialist ambitions are justified....?
The only thing weaker than your argument is you.

Meanwhile, enjoy Yahoo as a source of relevant info, as a 'yahoo' yourself it is eminently suitable.
“Yahoo - definition - A rude, noisy, or violent person.”
    http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/yahoo

This is why I don't usually bother with you. I don't want to catch fleas.

Good to know that you are an equally irrelevant 'threat' as KFC is.

    lol!

@9 You're all right Screenname, the Fijian RFU don't use the national flag on their shirts anyway, their emblem is a palm tree, so that won't be changing.

I saw a lot of Britons getting awfully upset....
What constitutes “a lot” ? The average Brit. has little or no knowledge of Fiji except as an exotic holiday resort and could not tell you what their flag looked like, or even cared.
As to standing up for themselves, they have been independent since 1970 so they have gone their own way . Good luck to them. The same can be said about Australia and New Zealand choosing a new flag or becoming a Republic.
It's up to them as sovereign countries to make the decision. It will not affect our relations with them in any way.
You seem to be under the delusion_(a typical Argie trait)-that these countries are just now breaking the colonial yoke by taking the Union Flag from their national flag. It just reveals how ignorant you are...although we knew that already.

Also “ Obrigabo.” what language is this ?
