Feb 08th, 2015 - 02:17 pm - Link - Report abuse 0As of this week, Macri is leading the polls. Not that I'm thrilled with that prospect, but change is change.

Feb 08th, 2015 - 03:00 pm - Link - Report abuse 0If you current government stopped looking at businesses as money bags and rather as a source of economic fuel, Argentina would not be in the cesspool it currently is in. The problem with your people, and I do not say this as an insult is that they are looking for as easy out of the hole and there is not as easy out. The more DFI flees in a massive exodus, the changes of further from a fix. Autarkies cannot exist in a global, market based economy. There's a reason why YFP cannot meet it's financial requirements to exploit it.
You people need to hit the streets every day. Kirchner is like a Mafia. After all these years in corrupt power, the Mafia is near dead.

Of course change is change is unfortunate. It's just that every time elections come you are just faced with the unpleasant task of choosing the least worst of he candidates.
What I actually tried to convey was that if Macri wins that would be the first time a political party other than peronismo or radicals would be in power and that should certainly shake the political corrupt structures now in place.
I am not campaigning for Macri, I am campaigning for the end of the mafia. Weather Macri is the one or not is beyond my scope at this moment because the mob has such an incredible ability to shape shift.
And my philosophy would be that government should enable you to seek the best way to provide for yourself without taking so much out of your pocket.

Your are not only an idiot also an ignorant all durable goods are considered investments as they are not consumables.
Doesn’t matter then if you use it or not, or if you speculate or not, if have one or 20 or if you sell drugs for making money.
Take your medication because your mental ill is slowly progressing you know and stop bringing batteries in your trips to Argentina because is illegal and also Argentina is full of it from many different countries.

Seriously.......I understand that is a only philosophy in Rgland because their is no other place to put money. Here we live in out homes also. Share your tampons with that chica......she looks like she needs them more than you.
@Capitano
Feb 11th, 2015 - 05:55 pm - Link - Report abuse 0A real estate is always an investment in Argentina, US, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, etc.
Is a not consumable stuff
Require a certain amount of funds (some families have to save their entire life to get a property)
Is an asset that is bought with the expectation to keep at list the value over time and to increase value over the time. Example: none in his right mind will buy a property expecting the decreasing of the value of his asset in the future.
Do you know a person that will buy a property knowing that in the future the value will be less of what he had paid for it?
Despite the expectation of value increase, RE also provides usufuct that also can be transferred to another person for an amount of money, could provide income by hiring it, etc, etc, etc.
So without hesitation RE is always a long term investment asset.
Then you can argue, I bought this property as a gift for my son and I will not intend to profit from it. Ok, but the asset continues to be an investment that your son will benefit from it (usufuct).
The same could be said about gilts, bonds, shares, etc.
So like it or not you have investment in Argentina.
I just wonder if you also have in Venezuela. Do you?
Your're missing my point wetback wannabe. I invest to make money. I bought my current properties to live in. I do not expect to lose money but the purpose and objective of my purchase determines whether I consider(or others as well) it an investment or purchase. You who comes from a country that considers frigs and cars investments and most likely tampons now are the least to give me investment advice.
Feb 11th, 2015 - 07:33 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Your'e making valid points but so am I. I did not buy my properties for investment purposes to MAKE MONEY. That would be illegal in Argentina called speculating. And guess what.......I would most likely lose money if I sold the places in Argentina if I adjust for inflation........probably without adjusting too. Your a Chacarita chica.............wanna buy an apartment? U$ only.
@Captain Poppy
Feb 11th, 2015 - 11:00 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Doesn’t matter if you consider or not an investment RE or what is your personal interpretation of it or the destination you are given to it.
Real Estate is always an investment like it or not
Suppose for a moment that I say...
I have bough US bonds and shares in NY stock exchange.
So you say ah! Dany you have invested in US.
And I replay, not you are wrong.
I bought the bonds and the shares to clean my arse that was really my intention so bonds and shares are not an investment only you in US consider bonds and shares as investment for me is toilette paper.
Can you see not much sense...
And also you have answered your own doubts about it for me in your...
“I do not expect to lose money”
Of course not because you used an economical criteria to chose where to buy and also considered the possibility of losing money if you make a mistake, etc.
Are you getting the idea? Not yet?
Well you should because despite you asseveration about Argentina considering anything as investment, etc, etc.
Well I assume you have never paid taxes in US, Have you?
Do you know what is capital gain tax clearly explained by your fellow taxman better known as IRS? Not even close?
According with IRS any US citizen owning Real Estate abroad is considered to have an investment and is a taxable subject by capital gain tax up to 20% at the time when is sold or exchange for another property, etc.
That 20% can be reduce according with the tax you have to pay at the moment of the sale in the foreigner country.
In Argentina this operation is not taxable so you have to pay 20% to Uncle Sam.
“wanna buy an apartment? U$ only”
Nope I am waiting to see blood on the streets. Ha ha
Is so easy, you have to buy when everybody sell and you have to sell when everybody buy...
Never fails...

Yup.....any US Citizen. And I too want to see blood. I really miss my service days.
I think your team mates are fucking you senseless in that circle jerk back in Chacarita. You've been a target way too long. I agree with yb that you self worth is damaging you. If kissitoff's intelligence is anything like your's, no wonder Argentina is on it's death bed.
So my first home was given to me from my father how owned it for.....mmmmmm, 40 years maybe. That was his home....his castle. How was that a financial investment for him and not a purchase of a home to live in? Your grasping at straws....as I said you need to get laid no go fuck that pig......or bend over for you team mates.........give them one for the gipper.
@Captain Poppy
Feb 12th, 2015 - 03:49 am - Link - Report abuse 0In the case of your father (The causative) had inherited you his assets so you got and increase of wealth due to his investment. So you were the beneficiary of his investment.
An investment per se doesn’t mean that the investor will usufuct the profits because you can invest for the future of your children. Still an investment.
Example: I buy a farm for me and my family as home may be will not increase value as a property but the land can provide me the opportunities to produces income for the family and me (usufruct).
Another example: I have $us100k and I buy a little apartment, I can live there but also I can have a little studio or office to exercise a profession let’s say teaching, lawyer, It, etc. I get profit from this.
So a property has many ways to provide you income and always is an investment.
Also education is a long term investment too is not so difficult to understand.
If I have $100k and I spend all of it in parties and alcohol I was just expending (no future) instead if I use this money to go to a good Uni. and become a lawyer, doctor, or any type of professional I have invested in my future because that knowledge will be a source of income and profit for me.
“Nope I am waiting to see blood on the streets”
If you would have invested in your education instead of spent your money on burritos and Tequila like crasy you would realised that that referrers to....
“buy property when there's blood on the streets”
A famous sentence said by Baron Rothschild in the 18th century.
A famous British banker from the wealthy bankers family Rothschild originally from Germany.
What that sentences means?
Easy you don’t have to kill anyone just only think a little bit will not hurt you...
You have to buy when price is low and there is panic in the market.
He made a fortune buying assets from panicked investors during the Napoleonic wars (Battle of Waterloo).
Now you can keep insulting me as usual...

Reading this objectively, it sounds like his wife and his wife's family have property there because they need somewhere to live. If you want a domicile, there is no alternative, unless you want to throw ALL your money away as RENT.
I am sure that it is distressing for them to see their property value decrease in terms of U$ as the economy tanks.
Especially as they will need that money to live on if they are trying to get out of Arg.

Now result that the rich person is your argie wife, pensioner!. Ha ha ha ha
Did you marry her to live as a parasite or what?
I say it again, I don’t need visa to enter to US or any other country in the Schengen zone in EU idiot how many times do I have to repeat that?
WTF is “chica at the planetarium.”, “chacharita” and “azul” idiot?
Can you explain me that?
Also tell me how did you arrive to the conclusion that I’m socialist?
Can you see how stupid you are?
@Troy Tempest
Are you planing to open an office of “public defender” for poor and idiots here in Mercopress © all rights reserved????
“You sound very very defensive, criticising Capt Poppy for complaining about the economy and its effect on real estate.”
Well the same could be said about USMex where thousand of foreigner investors got ruined with the Subprime mortgage business and SIVs.
And?
Do you see then calling for riots, to kill Obama or something like that?
“You seem to be one of those jealous Nationslists criticising foreigners for 'daring' to speculate or invest in Argentina, for the purpose of making a profit.”
Nope you are wrong but if you’ve made a wrong investment decision is not other people fault.
None has to pay for your stupidity, that is the way capitalist system works...
@Captain Poppy
Why I would be tracing you in Argentina?
Have you determined what my rank and pension rate. I am sure it is more than you wage, it's more than the average American wages. Why don't you try to kind out why I advised in the late 70s and 80s in the military? The good old days

Feb 14th, 2015 - 03:05 pm - Link - Report abuse 0As an apologist for the Peronists and CFK, you spread disinformation and try to obscure facts.
All to keep these criminals in power, and in a position to steal from the people and oppress them.
Apart from your personal attacks on posters who point out inconsistencies of the Arg. political statements, your propaganda includes attempting to discredit and undermine the EU, UK, USA, and the other people you owe money to, or have taken things illegally from.
I don't know why you defend that bunch of crooks, or why you work to perpetuate their corruption.
I can only assume that there is something in it for you.
Either that, or you have a need to insult and demean others.
Either way, your message needs to be countered and exposed for what it is, and you need to be exposed for what you are.
Dany has to be the most jealous posting troll on all of MP. He is totally unaware of how empty his ridiculous his factless statements are. If he were no such a moron I could almost feel sorry for him. He even resorts to lying about having been in the USA.
Feb 14th, 2015 - 04:52 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Dany I am waiting for you to tell my my YOS and retirement rank, thus taking a stab at my retirement wage. It's funny how only an RG would cannot understand someone who retired from a career under 50 would still work in there 50s. The Argentine Peronist work ethic on display. Dany.....iI can help you get a US Visa, I've done it for many Argentines.....email me.
What is my pension again.....monthly? Please tell me?
@ Captain Poppy

@ Troy Tempest
“As an apologist for the Peronists and CFK, you spread disinformation and try to obscure facts.

I cannot see anyone oppressed in Argentina and you?
“Apart from your personal attacks on posters who point out inconsistencies of the Arg. political statements, your propaganda includes attempting to discredit and undermine the EU, UK, USA, and the other people you owe money to, or have taken things illegally from.

If you are argentine there is something called vote that you can used to vote for your favourite candidate if he doesn’t win, sorry.

Feb 15th, 2015 - 05:35 am - Link - Report abuse 0How many times do I have to tell you that I don’t need any VISA to enter to US?

@Captain Poppy
Feb 15th, 2015 - 08:12 am - Link - Report abuse 0Oh! Capitano stop with the mystery and tell us how much do earn if you want.
But to be honest really I’m not interested on it
“Until you get some fool to believe a liar.”
Ha ha You cannot get it. Do you?
I don’t not need any VISA to enter into US plus 173 countries.
But you as US passport holder need VISA to go to Brazil, I don’t. Ha ha
In fact I don’t know how a VISA looks like and you?
So I can move practically all over the world without having to ask for a VISA.
You dumb fuck....it's public information what military pensions are. If you are not interested the stop think and claiming military pensions are like SA military.....or whatever.
Feb 15th, 2015 - 03:59 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I get the lie that you are implying and no one is biting on it. My lord you are by far the worst liar here. REAL people of importance do not waste there time on this website and that goes for everyone here.......everyone.
