pauly pauly, as ever completely off subject.

The BRITISH shipyards are rather busy...

”Construction of Queen Elizabeth began in 2009. Her assembly is taking place in the Firth of Forth at Rosyth Dockyard from nine blocks built in six UK shipyards: BAE Systems Surface Ships in Glasgow, Babcock at Appledore, Babcock at Rosyth, A&P Tyne in Hebburn, BAE at Portsmouth and Cammell Laird (flight decks) at Birkenhead”

Of course work now progressing well on HMS The Prince of Wales.
Plus the Nuclear POWERED, Attack Submarines: HMS Audacious, Anson & Agamemnon, with Ajax under contract.

That said Fincantieri are a world class shipbuilder, Biggest in Europe and 4th biggest in the world. The difference between the UK and Argentina, is we can pay for quality.

Currently Fincantieri are also constructing :
Freedom class littoral combat ships for the United States Navy.
Which of course are powered by Rolls-Royce Engines and have a
BAE Systems Mk 110 57 mm main gun.

@2. An important distinction. Why build something yourself if you can get the peasants to do it? That word 'englander'. So reminiscent of nazis and hispanic latino cowards.

There is an interesting article on Transperency International
    ww.transperency.org
that mentions how criminal associations are using Gibraltar to launder corrupt money through the purchase of upmarket UK properties by using the offshore accounts.
I wonder if these criminal elements are on this ship??!!

Obviously not a British spy ship, it's not nearly red enough, and doesn't have any penguins painted on the superstructure. Unless they're stealth penguins that is...

Seriously though, that's a fairly substantial ship, and shipbuilding space is at a bit of a premium at the moment, especially as the owners of the largest UK dry dock have moved away from liners towards producing offshore windfarm production vessels (which is a fairly substantial growth area).

“luckily it is not “made in england” lol.

But our vessels wherever they are made stay above the waves instead of yours that prefer to sink.

How many ships do Argentine make, that float?

dont pick on paul, he is proud of the Argentinian Corvette ships of the navy

They want to build a new one with the name of ARA Rufus. It would be named after a dog, as they are pretty sure when its in the port, it will roll over straight away like the other vessels in the fleet

Without waiting for him to add another witty brainless comment, he will carry on about ships not built in UK, but will not comment, when Argentina beg for ships from China

The best things afloat in Argentina, are usually the bodies of the innocent, starved and sick from the policies of CFK, well, thats unless they have a hole in the back of the head
