According to Nostril, Marcos, Stink and Pauline the UK is irrelevant. Why then have the RG government taken out a full page advertisement in The Times about the Nisman case today?

    Waiting for your responses.......?

Obviously the opinion of the Brits counts for a great deal in Argentina, no matter what they say.
Did they take full-page Ads in Venezuela, Bolivia or Indonesia?
    ---
Also, as it is hard to keep track, which Judges are in the K-gang's pocket, which are with the opposition. and who is independent (as they all should be) ?

Simple, “The times” has international distribution and is in English, a major lingua franca. The ad was to reach a global non-British audience, we are just using you as the cheap chauffeur.

BTW, I 've been out all week getting drunk and eating world food, went the parade last night. I never attend the Saturday parade, but watching it on tv... I thought the Vendimia was going to be cancelled according to all the resident economic gurugeniouses... What happened!??

Not even for WWII, the fall of Peron, or the Junta wit cancelled!

    “... eating world food ”

haha! Thank You! You never fail to amuse me.

Anyway, 'world food' ? What is that to you, exactly?

Absolutely anything but choripans? Did you pay extra for chimichurri?

I expect Churros are quite exotic to you.

Perhaps you sampled some Arepas from Vnzla?

    lol!

Sorry, back on topic... why would a legitimate Govt feel the need to pay to publish full-page Ads in foreign newspapers in order to justify their own actions?
    Are they that deeply insecure?

“The lady doth protest too much, methinks”

For the less well-read, here is the source.
(A quotation from the 1602 play Hamlet by William Shakespeare. It has been used as a figure of speech, in various phrasings, to indicate that a person's overly frequent or vehement attempts to convince others of something - then have ironically helped to convince others that the opposite is true, by making the person look insincere and defensive.)

IE: Trying to bullshit your way out of an obviously guilty position, thus making yourself look foolish.

Seems to me that Mrs Castro's Thinking on this one is making her trolls desperate to explain why her government needs to seek international approval for its inaction regarding the assassination of Nisman.? And particularly in the most influential English newspaper so hated by the Red House. We are constantly informed that Argentina is a bastion of freedom and law and order but its obvious that this couldn't be further from the truth and that nothing has really changed since the days of the Junta. If you cross TMBOA you are likely to get a bullet in the head no matter how well you are protected. Its a mini River Plate scenario and a warning to others.

Think... you failed once again. Poor old buffer.

I think “world food” is what we call “food” in the civilized world but I'd love to know what it is there exotic Raman noodles perhaps but its probably food from Colombia or Peru.
Anyhoo, everywhere you read about the collapse of the wine industry ( well collapse of every industry) but I think you'll see lots of wineries go out of business next year in Argentina which will drag a lot of hospitality business with it.
As I've said the 2001 collapse is going to look like the good ol' days when the next one comes.

Captain, its because our government is in serious embarasment regarding this death and it does not like UK critics making comments on it. UK is very influential in UN and human rights and decent law. This is Argentinas attempting to deflect critics in major countries.

The article fails to inform that prosecutor Alberto Nisman's former wife, federal judge Arroyo Salgado, abruptly requested that forensic analysis of Nisman's electronic devices be stopped following initial discovery that Nisman's computer had been operated Sunday morning. Salgado private investigators had previously concluded that Nisman's death had occurred Saturday, contradicting official results pointing to Sunday.
