Getting a bit big for his boots isn't he?
How about concentrating on your members terms and conditions, otherwise stand for Parliament.

    What he really meant was...
“United Kingdom Unite boss Len McCluskey gave ‘the fullest of assurances’ that he would influence a future Labour government in Britain ”...

    1. I wouldn't trust the Labour Party
    2. Author of this piece might note there is no 'Labor' Party in the UK, it's the 'Labour' Party

If we have to spell 'Harbor' (as in Pearl Harbor) incorrectly, to please the Yanks, the least we can expect is some form of reciprocation :)

Many in the labour party actively engage with argentine officials,

the left of this party would invite CFK to address our parliament if it could get away with it,

but hey, what do I know abt politics,
vote labour and you get the booby prize ??

Can't really complain about McCluskey supporting Gibraltar. But a Labour government? Puhleeese. Still, Britain is cursed with scrounging skivers, welfare drones, immigrant thieves. It's also cursed with the European Union and the European Court of Human Rights. Two organisations dedicated to the destruction of civilised humanity. Think about it. For over 140 years, Britain fought AGAINST European dictatorships. Now it's been conned into submitting to another one. But there is hope. Daily, more British people wake up to this. War IS coming. And then the 'human rights' thing. Most British people have already recognised the incorrect name. Now known as the European Convention on Criminal Rights. Imagine the disbelief when an illegal immigrant was given a right to remain because of his 'right to a family life'. He had a family alright. It was just that he lived 150 miles away from them and never saw them. Another illegal immigrant who beat deportation with the same right. And his 'family'? A cat. Many British people are still trying to work out how a 'right to a family life' was modified into a 'right to a family life in Britain'. Nigerian illegal immigrant can't have a 'family life' in Nigeria?

The time is coming. British people will read another nonsensical European 'judgment' and decide they can do better. Illegal immigrant forced to board a UK-spain ferry. Gets thrown overboard part way across the Bay of Biscay. Here's a really good one. Italy is broke. So it sends its maritime 'forces' out to find illegals trying to cross the Mediterranean. It takes them back to Italy. Then it issues them with 'temporary' documents so they can flit around Europe at will. Why not do the sensible thing and sink everything they see?

Labour will not win the General Election in May. Therefore this man's comments have no bearing.
However it is good to see that across the political spectrum in the UK, there is broad and firm support for the Gibraltarians and their Rights.
