Falklands’ explorer Borders and Southern Petroleum PLC said this week its pre-tax loss widened in 2014 as costs increased, and admitted it has struggled to find a partner for the Darwin discovery to the south of the Falkland Islands, against a backdrop of reduced investment by companies caused by the fall in oil prices. there is a lot of potential associates...at the madhouse.
guess they are the only ones whom these thieves can steal a pair of bucks to “invest” in that cesspit.

Paulie- Are you ever going to learn to read- and think - before you write!
Nobody would invest with B&S in present climate of oil prices- sensible!

BUT - as and when prices rise again and there is another round of interest in more drilling - who knows? You have not got a clue how it works have you!

Oil planning-field proving-development- is Long term stuff - we can wait.

How is the investment from US in Vaca Muerta coming along? How many US$ have so far been SPENT by Chevron? Not talked about, any silly bugger can talk and promise(Argies do it every day) - but actually Spent?

I see our resident expert in matters concerning the oil industry has made his comments @3.

Most erudite as always, pity he has to use “cesspit” which has no connection with the topic at all. But, then that is how idiotchild/payaso/mamarraacho/paulcedron finds a need to express himself.

The okupas do not get partner. No problem. If they get, with one torpedo well put to the platform, exploring is over lifelong.

Jose 12 - so why have you not torpedoed the rig that has been drilling for last 30 days and has just announced an oil and gas strike?

“The exploration location is also a barrier to some interested parties”

Why doesn't anyone find it surprising that these oil companies will always talk up their chances just to rob investors.

Mrs Think isn't following this exciting current campaign very well.
Share price ballooned 25% on discovery but fell back possibly due to current temporarily low oil price. In any event results were far better than expected and the oil itself is described as high quality.
Mrs Think misunderstands the oil field names to make a really funny joke and that's fine. Humour is always welcome and Im sure we will all still be laughing when the oil is shipped out to World Markets.
Isobel is the next prospect with results due end of the month, so keep your fingers crossed. From the extensive 3d surveys laboriously carried out over the last 18 months Isobel and Elaine are estimated to contain substantial amounts of oil.
Time will tell, Falkland Islanders and shareholders can wait.

    iso
the argentinian education system is great.
that's why your chilote friends come here to study.

so, not only we have the best private education system of the americas at primary and secondary level, but also the best universities of latin america, and i am not talking only about the private ones now.

anyhow, even the bolivian education system is better than the one you have in the islets.
    what a shame!

What is a shame ? Any suitable scholar can have access to some of the best schools in the UK and world class universities.

“the best universities of latin america”, ....not true and not much to boast about
World Rankings for universities taken from websites

    timeshighereducation.co.uk/world-university-rankings/2014-15/world-ranking

    topuniversities.com/university-rankings/world-university-rankings/2014#sorting=rank+region=+country=+faculty=+stars=false+search=
    S.America ratings:-
    Brazil 132
    Chile !!!!! 167
Argentina 198.... Mexico came in at 175, included as it is Spanish speaking.

In the top 100 rankings the following had these numbers of universities placed.
    USA 28
    Canada 2
    England 16
    Scotland 3
So the islanders have access to 19 of the top one hundred universities, teaching in ENGLISH.......NO NEED FOR SPANISH !!
As usual, shooting off your mouth before doing a basic check on the figures..

    @21 paulcedron,
    Your education system is pathetic.
You teach lies to your children about the Falklands.
Your universities are no where near the standards of British & American ones.
You believe what you want to believe & try to be happy while you're doing it.
    See Clyde15's post above.
    ldiot child.

    stop swearing and insulting, isolda.
that is another sign of the poor, poor education system of the islands.
you should wash your mouth out with soap.

    grandpa
any person who have received a supreme education, like myself for example, knows that those lists are the paragon of nonsense.
indubitably, they are just cheap propaganda.
it is a pity you think they are the truth revealed.
