What do they expect when they took 100s of Billions U$ of wealth out of PBR? Its pretty hard to upgrade or do anything without cash. Now they've ruined, possibly for good one of their best national companies and thrown their oil/gas industry into reverse. Who knows when it will get worked out. Surely not soon enough.

    The slum dwellers will riot.
    That's a given.
Its just a matter of time.

You give evidence that knows nothing about oil, water or Brazil.
Petrobras has never been stronger. Cheating the US government and its oil companies sponsored are not giving the desired results.

In 2015 only the BP shares appreciated more than Petrobras shares on the NYSE. (12,05% X 11,52%).

    Why your prediction never confirm?

There is corruption in every country in the world.
With a very important detail: in Brazil corruption happens in retail and is being fought. Successfully! In the United States corruption is mostly wholesale and is not managed.
Maybe that's why the last ten years the United States was where there was the greatest deterioration in income distribution rates in the world.

Skip. Please ignore my earlier comment. I mis-read your post. Apologies.

    As you were.
    :)
    ------
Brasso, you really shouldn't post that when most of your Government and your largest nationalised industry is being investigated for fraud and corruption.
    How is that not wholesale?
You have no 'important points' to make.
Really, you are a disgrace to the human race.

    PBR 1 Yr % Change -48.08

Brasso, I am rarely wrong. PBR is hanging on by its fingernails. Most likely their bonds will be called and Fraud charges will be leveled.
What these SoAms nationalists never seem to understand is that these troubles are just the beginning of what's to come.
    They're no way near done.

PBR just announced today that they are giving up 5 drills because of the Fraud.

    Just the beginning

You are not using the same timeline that I am.
I contend that Petrobras is fine now, proving that exceeded, or is in the process of being overcome the challenges posed by the fight against corruption.

And more. We will ensure that no US oil company are part of the pre-salt success.

Brazil and Petrobras are mired in deep investigations into corruption right now!

It is not over yet and I expect there is a lot more to come. Brasileiro still doesn't understand just how much he has been exploited by the people he voted for.

You really need to learn about US investment in Brazil, and about contracts underwritten in the USA before you post such ignorant comments such as “United States does not represent absolutely nothing for us”

The USA has great influence in your economic sphere, and your economic well-being.
Truly, if you expelled all US companies from Brazil, and ceased trading with the US completely, your economy would collapse overnight.
