I just want to post the headline before MP corrects their typo...
“Cristina Fernandez will visit his close new friend Putin on April 22/23”

Are they suggesting she is a transvestite?
I think we should be told.
    ----
On a slightly more serious note. Her deliberate alienation of the 'West' by supporting Putin is going to cause a lot of strife for the next Arg. Govt.

    Maybe that is her plan?

”(including construction of a nuclear power plant) and the upcoming visit will seek to discuss the implementations of those deals“
Chernobyl anyone? How did that work out?

”... and seek to expand investment opportunities”

Open door for Putin's ex-KGB Russian Mafia cronies?

How do think that is gonna work out?

Oh, Cristina, do you know what you do?

    I love it.

The isolation that so many Argentinians wish for is being denied as China and Russia finally find a new friend that won't ask any pesky questions.

What is even more farcical is that the Crimea and Falkland Islands are polar opposites. Russia felt it had the right to Crimea because it is populated by Russians who support being part of Russia. This would therefore translate into Russia actually supporting the Falkland Islands being British.

Makes for fun and games but doesn't actually affect the world at all really.

I hope the farmers stop selling completely. I can't believe she thinks she can control, who they sell to, and at what price.

As for Putin, she really is on a Lose, Lose, situation here. Putin will just use, and abuse, then throw her on the garbage pile.

Silly cow. Another sucker for his macho posturing. Many women around the world will be ashamed of her. He is racist, homophobic, mafia scum and she prostrates herself. Sad.

    Putin craves adulation and stature.

As most leaders of more important countries shun him, he has been forced to lower his standards.

    Hence Cristina.

    We can afford them still

Russia doesn’t need soy as they seem to have imports that cover for pork and poultry feed. Perhaps they do from Khazajstan and other central Asian former USSR republics.

What they need is wheat. They have lost the Ukraine.

Putin is not homophobic. He has devaluated himself to Russia and the Orthodox people and he is playing to their tune.

It is spooky how even through the binary world of this medium, human feelings like jaundice, jealousy, and acrimony evince limpid like gallets on a glacier rivulet bed.

There are no more two pathetic nations than the UK and Australia, responsible for some of the biggest human injustices in human history. And obviously two countries full of envious losers who can't stand when other countries completely ignore them and feel left out.

    WTF?
Do I misunderstand you? “Putin is not homophobic”, but just a tool of the Church? Really? You think this?
You think he bows before the Church?
He is the most individual powerful leader Russia has had since Stalin.

    ok, let's go there...
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGBT_rights_in_Russia
The Russian LGBT propaganda law (also known in English-language media as the gay propaganda law or the anti-gay law[1][2]) refers to a Russian federal law “for the Purpose of Protecting Children from Information Advocating for a Denial of Traditional Family Values”.[3] Unanimously approved by the State Duma on 11 June 2013 (with just one MP abstained—Ilya Ponomarev),[4] the bill was signed into law by President Vladimir Putin on 30 June 2013.[5]

The last one is very good because it explains how Putin 'explains' the 'connection' between homosexuality and peadophilia!

Even Argentina is vastly ahead of Russia on issues of Sexuality and Gender, in fact Argentina recently rescued a Russian man from persecution and probable death, (google it, or advanced search on mercopress).

What do you really care what what two girls want to do in bed together (homosexuality), or two boys? hmm..?
phew! Cristina wants Putin-esque style repression in your country.

Wait until they come for you.. maybe your 'rights' won't be 'this season's flavour'...

It amazes me how supposedly immoral the UK and USA and other western countries are according to many of the Argentineans on here and yet their own leader is going to visit a country that has not only illegal invaded and annexed part of a neighbouring state but wherethe government persecutes any dissidence to the 'official' veesion of any event.

If a western country can be tarred by the brush of its leaders then Argentina cannot shirk their guilty participation in this.

@5. Good isn't it? Especially as Russian 'ships' have an enviable reputation for blowing up and/or sinking.
@7. Isn't it possible that he's hoping that some of the argie impregnated with who knows what stuff will turn some of his population into mutants? Will they glow red in the dark?
@9. I thought she is a silo bag! Or was that silo hag?
@13. 'Our self-respect as a virile people obliges us to put down as soon as possible, by reason or by force, this handful of savages who destroy our wealth and prevent us from definitely occupying, in the name of law, progress and our own security, the richest and most fertile lands of the Republic.

    —Julio Argentino Roca'

Not really 'improved' upon until a certain someone, that icon of the argie masses, said
'Once I really am in power, my first and foremost task will be the annihilation of the Jews. As soon as I have the power to do so, I will have gallows built in rows—at the Marienplatz in Munich, for example—as many as traffic allows. Then the Jews will be hanged indiscriminately, and they will remain hanging until they stink; they will hang there as long as the principles of hygiene permit. As soon as they have been untied, the next batch will be strung up, and so on down the line, until the last Jew in Munich has been exterminated. Other cities will follow suit, precisely in this fashion, until all Germany has been completely cleansed of Jews.'
@19. Look at history. Could argieland have actually taken part in WW2? Of course it could. Currently, at least 8% of the argie population is German. So it's unclear which side it would have picked. In which other country did the president order the creation of a ratline to provide an escape from Justice for prominent Nazis and collaborators from Europe?

What do we think of argieland?

Relax, people. The Argentine government is just showing it's free to choose trade partners and political friends based on the country's own interests. As a neo-colonial country, we used to have unbalanced strong relations with the central western countries with the U.S. as puppet master. The country paid a heavy price for these close ties. Today's diversification is a welcome new trend.

Nostrils is trying to create a meme about Justin Bieber's arrest warrant that was issued in Argnetina and pertains solely to Argentina's domestic jurisdiction.

He, even though he rants looooooong and hard, is obviously now in favour of using Interpol to have adjusting Bieber arrested wherever he may be. So much for his isolationism. Obviously only when it suits his Argentinean educated mind.

Argentina has so far not issued a 'diffusion' or a 'notice', therefore it is so far all a domestic Argentinean issue. No other country has been requested to do anything.

I am looking at his ongoing explicit and overt bigotry, trying to stereotype ENGLISH speaking peoples as breaking the law.

Of course, now you have certainly pointed out that in the case of Beiber, it is not true.

NOSTRIL condemns others based on ethnicity and race, alone, truthful or not.

It's quite a contrast to the way he ignores acts of ethnic and/or racial prejudice against the ARGENTINE JEWISH community - the murder of 85 Jews by Iranian terrorists, covered up by CFK.

    TOBI NOSTRILS,
when confronted with contradictions linking race and politics, runs and hides under the bed.

And with good reason, it seems.

TOBI has told us he is not European.
He has told us he is not AmerIndian.
He has made it clear that he feels Blacks are inferior.
He ridiculed the Asians and SE Asian races.

As I have pointed out before, what's left??
All I can think of is the Inuit and Middle Eastern people's.
Tobi has no affinity with Eskimos, and he has already slagged the Muslim Arabs and Persians.

That leaves, the Jewish people. He NEVER says a word against them - NO, he never mentions them, except to say once that his brother was fluent in Hebrew.

That brings us to the greatest contradiction:

TOBI never criticises CFK's government and her Jewish Minister, Timmerman, criminally implicated in their coverup of the MURDER of 85 JEWISH Argentine citizens by Iranian terrorists, IN ARGENTINA!

TOBI betrays his own people, just as Timerman does!

What does TOBI get out of it?
