Fitch Ratings lowered Thursday the outlook on Brazil's investment grade BBB rating to negative, warning that government efforts to turn around the economy risked getting derailed. The Brazilian economy, the world's seventh-largest, stagnated with just 0.1% growth last year as the drag of rising inflation erased the effect of hosting the football World Cup in June and July and gearing up for the Rio Olympics next year. Just awaiting Brasileiro in the bubble to rant on about pretty much anything as long as it doesn't have anything to do with reality.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 06:54 am - Link - Report abuse 0Brazil won't regain the growth it had recently for the foreseeable future.
hahahaha
Apr 10th, 2015 - 10:30 am - Link - Report abuse 0Not a ZZZ-?
While not ZZZ-- we run the risk of seeing these Western capitalists want to transform our Brazil in the West of crap that produces nothing and live of speculation.
Honestly, Brazil should not give access to numbers of our economy for these idiots. The sooner we cut the ties with the West, soon will adapt to a more productive economic life.
Brazil should not give access to numbers of our economy for these idiots.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 11:22 am - Link - Report abuse 0Speaking of an idiot.
Because not publishing your national accounts will help how exactly?
A nice, clear, concise reason how that could possibly help Brazil is way beyond Brasileiro's education.
Brazil is NOT turning its back on the west.
It is NOT part of some anti-west bloc.
It is NOT going to stop trade or investment with the west.
Brazil is in a self induced recession. Its economic growth, its inflation, its corruption is from within BRAZIL. It isn't being caused by someone else.
Smashing the mirror because of what it shows doesn't change what was reflected.
Gads these uniformed posters always sound so much alike. Where do they get in their heads that the west USA UK EU are trying to destroy them?
Apr 10th, 2015 - 11:31 am - Link - Report abuse 0They're doing a fine job all by themselves already.
Silly fools
This is only the beginning.
I really doubt they can contain civil unrest once they cut off the free money to the slum dwellers like Brasso.
No water and No money
Sounds like a Socialist Paradise in the making like Venezuela.
@ Dalek
Apr 10th, 2015 - 11:45 am - Link - Report abuse 0Your vision of paradise should be a square with dozens of bodies of black children shot dead by police. Or a California dying of thirst.
Or worse, a room at the Pentagon where generals planning the new invasion in any country in South America!
6. We may have problems but its nothing like the 3rd World Sh#thole you claim to spawn from.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 12:23 pm - Link - Report abuse 0We don't have to store water in open containers full of malaria killing mosquitos. Nor do we have multi storied slums with military type police shooting anyone they want.
Have you ever been to Brazil?
I have
and its nasty.
I wonder what colour skin the 50,000 plus people murdered in Brazil every year have? An annual murder rate that my country won't exceed in a 100 years.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 12:44 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Brasileiro doesn't have many comebacks really. His country is economically crashing but he can't talk about it.
These crazy 3rd worlders like Toby, Paul and Brasso have no idea how much nicer and safer it is in the 1st world. I currently have a Colombian friend visiting for the first time and he can't get over how quiet, clean, safe and modern it is here. He keeps asking me if the busses are new. I say I have no idea I never noticed.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 01:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0One thing I learned living outside of the USA for so long is to really appreciate how much we have here and how lucky I am to have been able to be born in such a great place.
I very much doubt I will ever live outside of my country again.
Its just too hard to deal with the mess everywhere else.
BRAZIL,
Apr 10th, 2015 - 06:53 pm - Link - Report abuse 0don't worry to much, look on the bright side,
your still higher than Argentina lol.
We killed bandits in confrontation with police. The North-Americans kill their children and citizens because they are black!
Apr 10th, 2015 - 08:59 pm - Link - Report abuse 0How can we call it? Paradise or Nazism?
You are more likely to be murdered in Brazil than the USA.
Apr 11th, 2015 - 04:04 am - Link - Report abuse 0That isn't paradise or nazism.
That is just reality.
The ruler of the time shows us that since the US independence in 1776/1814 and in Brazil in 1822 will die violently 30 times more North-Americans than Brazilians.
Apr 11th, 2015 - 12:31 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Against numbers no arguments. The South America is the most peaceful continent in the world. A true example of civility and education.
@3. I may like your idea of a 'productive life'. Is it where you all get together, decompose and get recycled? You'll be familar with worms and fungi. There are also bacteria. Bacteria requiring oxygen to function (aerobic bacteria) and fungi manage the chemical process by converting the inputs into heat, carbon dioxide and ammonium. Or, in other words, farts.
Apr 11th, 2015 - 02:15 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@6. 'generals planning the new invasion in any country in South America'. That's a joke, isn't it? Let's give you a clue about how it works. The US Armed Forces outweigh those of Brazil on a scale of at least 20:1. Imagine 8,000 US main battle tanks compared to 400 from Brazil. Actually, Brazil only has 304.
@13. 'More than one million people were murdered in Brazil between 1980 and 2011, making it the world's seventh most violent country'. 'after El Salvador, the US Virgin Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Venezuela, Colombia and Guatemala.' 'a rate of 11.5 murders for 100,000 inhabitants in 1980 to 27 per 100,000 in 2011.' 'The figures are one for 100,000 in China, 3.4 in India, 5.3 in the United States and 12.2 in Nigeria.'

Wow, Brasso, what's your rate of lying? Every other word?
Are you planning on beating argieland for cheating and thieving as well?
As you're stupid, Conqueror! You must have all violent deaths, including Civil War, World Wars, murders, robberies, Korea, Vietnam, Somalia, Twin Towers, Old West, etc., etc.
Apr 11th, 2015 - 02:38 pm - Link - Report abuse 0But you are so dumb that I think I'm talking to my dog. In other words, you are unable to see a finger on your nose.
@15 brasshole
Apr 11th, 2015 - 10:53 pm - Link - Report abuse 060,000 murders in Brazil....per year....yeh, peaceful country.....and let's not even mention Venezuela.
As I've suggested before, you moron, emigrate to VZ,,,,the sooner the better....for us, and for Brazil. Petista shite !!
Brasileiro you don't provide numbers or facts you just provide wishful thinking.
Apr 11th, 2015 - 11:42 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The South America is the most peaceful continent in the world. A true example of civility and education.
Wrong!
See how you lie. See how bad you make the Brazilian education system seem
Australia is the most peaceful inhabited continent in the world. Not South America where you have Brazilian and Venezeulans murdering nearly 100,000 people per year.
There are more homicides in Venezuela in ONE YEAR than in Australia for the ENTIRE 20th century.
@
Apr 12th, 2015 - 02:50 am - Link - Report abuse 013 Brasileiro
South America is the most peaceful continent in the world.
Venezuela has 25000 violent deaths per annum.
Venezuela alone.
Over the past ten years, (I'll do the math, because you obviously can't), is
250,000!!!!!!! Less people die in wars!
Yes, a quarter of a million people have died in the streets of Vnzla in the past 10 years.
Truly, a Socialist Paradise.
This is why I left, and am still taking steps to get my extended family out of there. Some have gone to Chile and Colombia. Others are here in the UK with me. Some are in Germany, Spain and Sweden.
None of them want to live in Vnzla anymore.
Venezuela has LESS than 10% of the population of the USA.
Apr 12th, 2015 - 01:49 pm - Link - Report abuse 0And yet Venezuela has MORE homicides per year.
Between 1861 and 1865 the number of homicides in the United States was higher than 8600 times the number of homicides in Venezuela. Although in most years of the twentieth century there has been a certain balance.
Apr 12th, 2015 - 02:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0In terms of numbers and quality of life I prefer to Venezuela!

@20 brasshole
Apr 12th, 2015 - 02:31 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Comparing homicides in the USA and in VZ between 1861 and 1865....Have you gone completely nuts ??!!?? in case you don't know, the American Civil War was going on during that period....either you are even more ignorant than we all know you to be, or you are the type of fool who thinks he can play people with deceptive information...either way, you are an idiot.
If you want to make a valid comparison, use current figures, per 100,000 inhabitants....
But if you love VZ - and their quality of life - what are you waiting for to emigrate to that socialist paradise ?...get the hell out of Brazil and stop talking about it......You are the kind of crap we don't need, or want here.
1861 and 1865! WTF!
Apr 13th, 2015 - 06:24 am - Link - Report abuse 0You really have to be kidding me. What the hell do they teach in Brazilian schools because that it probably the most pathetic comment I have ever seen on this website.
Brasileiro with his extremely inadequate education has attempted to compare the US Civil War to Venezuela at this time.... WITHOUT....
Knowing that Venezuela was suffering its own civil war called the Federal War between 1859 and 1863!
Where some estimate that more than TEN PERCENT of the entire country was killed.
Brasileiro you just keep digging the hole deeper. Please go live in Venezuela and enjoy the quality of life there!
