Fitch Ratings lowered Brazil's investment grade outlook to negative
Fitch Ratings lowered Thursday the outlook on Brazil's investment grade BBB rating to negative, warning that government efforts to turn around the economy risked getting derailed. The Brazilian economy, the world's seventh-largest, stagnated with just 0.1% growth last year as the drag of rising inflation erased the effect of hosting the football World Cup in June and July and gearing up for the Rio Olympics next year. A nice, clear, concise reason how that could possibly help Brazil is way beyond Brasileiro's education.
Brazil is NOT turning its back on the west.

It is NOT going to stop trade or investment with the west.
Brazil is in a self induced recession. Its economic growth, its inflation, its corruption is from within BRAZIL. It isn't being caused by someone else.

These crazy 3rd worlders like Toby, Paul and Brasso have no idea how much nicer and safer it is in the 1st world. I currently have a Colombian friend visiting for the first time and he can't get over how quiet, clean, safe and modern it is here. He keeps asking me if the busses are new. I say I have no idea I never noticed.

I very much doubt I will ever live outside of my country again.
Its just too hard to deal with the mess everywhere else.

Australia is the most peaceful inhabited continent in the world. Not South America where you have Brazilian and Venezeulans murdering nearly 100,000 people per year.

Knowing that Venezuela was suffering its own civil war called the Federal War between 1859 and 1863!
