Brazil's State-run oil company Petrobras has purged corrupt managers and put a graft scandal behind it, while hitting record output levels from offshore deposits, President Dilma Rousseff said Thursday. The indictment of former senior executives of Petrobras the investigation of dozens of political allies of Rousseff in the multibillion-dollar kickback scandal has thrown her government into crisis and undermined investor confidence in Brazil. Well, she would say that, wouldn't she?
(I'll provide the reference later for those that didn't get the joke)
This so isn't over.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 06:55 am - Link - Report abuse 0No corruption scandal cleans up this quickly. There is plenty more to find.
Yup, yup yup....

I love you and
I won't %um in your mouth.
Now there are 4 great lies....did you swallow Brasshole?
Now is to continue expanding the exploitation of our oil in ultra-deep waters.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 11:02 am - Link - Report abuse 0Unofficially the governments of Brazil and China are studying actions to close the capital of Petrobras traded on the New York Stock Exchange, buying back 5% negotiated, including any debentures held by Westerners. At the same time these roles would be traded through the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
It would be a way of Petrobras approaching Asia which is where the business and investment opportunities are concentrated.

Unofficially?
Apr 10th, 2015 - 11:25 am - Link - Report abuse 0No such thing is happening.
You're probably the worst liar on this website.
You inform false numbers and false data. And I'm the liar?
Apr 10th, 2015 - 11:35 am - Link - Report abuse 0My question is: all English-speaking people suffer from this character disorder or just you?
4. That would be highly illegal and unethical and probably would put a lot of people in jail.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 11:42 am - Link - Report abuse 0Nobody is going to touch PBR until its though its SEC investigation and it hasn't even begun.
I highly doubt the company can survive in its current form.

Apr 10th, 2015 - 11:58 am - Link - Report abuse 0If I know the American in-justice, they will certainly want to indemnity as little as 1 or 2 trillion yuan.
Dalek, let there with your cronies that we will not pay a dime. We go to war! And we will take the BRICS together.
We will be happy to buy all the stocks and bonds held by you from 2010 until the outbreak of corruption cases at the market price before the effects of corruption.
Go to war with the USA? Bahahahaha
Apr 10th, 2015 - 12:25 pm - Link - Report abuse 0With what?
Sorry but that's now how things work. Fraud is serious in the USA. Not only could the SEC destroy PBR confiscate all of its International assets it can put its Execs behind bars and no amount of screaming Marxist Monkeys could stop them.
Yes Brasileiro you are a liar.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 12:50 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Your posts have multiple times been shown to be outright fiction.
Show me one verifiable news article, that is NOT some random blog, to show that Peteobas was going to move its listing from the US to China.
Just one.
C'mon you smart Brazilian. Prove this Aussie wrong.
@6. You've always been a liar, Brasso. Do you not understand? You're like a cesspit dipstick. We look at what you say and we can tell the depth of the shit.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 02:28 pm - Link - Report abuse 0@8. Oh do please go to war. Bearing in mind that you will probably want to 'war' against the United States, how do you fancy your 'chances' against 2,500 nuclear warheads. I like the thought of the effects on other south american 'countries'. But with that in mind, how many south american 'countries' would attack you? Going with BRICS? Russia has been targeted by the US for at least 65 years. Doesn't Pakistan hate India? Chinese paddy fields. South African wimps.
See whether you can understand this. What does the Anglosphere care about BRICS?
I thought about saying 'Get a grip'. But you're off in la la land where brasso and argie troops know how to fight. What they do know how to do is to die. How do you fancy 310,000 military deceased? Here's a clue. The appropriately named 'Little Boy' was dropped on Hiroshima on 6 August, 1945. It was truly 'little'. Total number of deaths - 166,000.
Did you notice that I only mentioned 2,500 warheads? Leaving plenty with which to annihilate Russia and China.
I'll go further. It wasn't that long ago that your 'country' had to ask the UK to travel south and teach you how to get off boats, right? Want to watch more than 2,600 British armoured vehicles come ashore? No? Then how about more than 33,000 US armoured vehicles. And you can manage 1,800? And that just how outclassed you are militarily. Are you imagining some sort of RICS military expeditionary force. Sorry. They're too busy repressing their own populations.
Have you ever considered reality?
By the way, you want petrobras to be 'clean'? Try an acid bath. A really strong acid bath. Flesh-stripping.
I wave my magic wand and it's clean !
Apr 10th, 2015 - 03:47 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The criminal investigation by the PF continues.
What utter nonsense from Dizzy, whom as you may recall denied the entire Petrobras corruption scandal existing during the election debates.
Brazil are international pariahs as far as the investment people are concerned.

Apr 10th, 2015 - 06:51 pm - Link - Report abuse 0and all by herself..lol
As if to prove my point, comes the following late today:
Apr 10th, 2015 - 07:58 pm - Link - Report abuse 0 Brazil’s Federal Police on Friday 10.04.2015, arrested three former lower-house lawmakers and four other suspects in a new phase of the investigation into a massive bribery case centered on state-controlled oil giant Petrobras, officials said.
Andre Vargas, a member of the ruling Workers Party, or PT; Pedro Correa of the Progressive Party, or PP; and Luiz Argolo of the opposition Solidarity party were taken into custody.
Sr. Pedro Correa was among those previously convicted in the so-called “trial of the century,” another landmark Brazilian corruption case that was uncovered in 2005 and hit the administration of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, mentor and predecessor of current head of state Dilma Rousseff
Lies, all lies ! she says. But everything at Petrobras is cleansed now.
Until the next shoe drops, which may someday fit her own feet.
Everything was ascertained with respect to Petrobras. What the judge, militant from PSDB, want is to keep the case in point to prevent the governance of the country.
Apr 10th, 2015 - 08:48 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Today was installed HSBC CPI to investigate the names linked to money laundering and illegal tax evasion.
