Ushuaia in the extreme south of Argentina expects sixteen additional calls for the next cruise season 2015/16, according to Tierra del Fuego province ports authority, which together with other representatives attended the recent Seatrade Cruise international fair held in Miami. This includes vessels from the Norwegian Cruise Line, as well as the Splendor of the Seas, Crystal Symphony and Japan's Asuka II. Read full article

Apr 13th, 2015 - 05:30 pm - Link - Report abuse 0So do we take it that all the other ports will no be able to provide sewage services such as Ushuaia has (NOT).

Once visited, never seen again!
No cruise ship should 'visit' argieland. argieland is an illegitimate pariah. Remember that it WANTS isolation. Wherever you are in the world, contact local cruise companies. NO stops in argieland. NO argie passengers (probably terrorists). Argieland breaches international law and the UN Charter every day.
Apr 13th, 2015 - 06:43 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Interesting that none of the cruise-liners are Argentine owned.

Apr 13th, 2015 - 09:41 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I suspect that has more to do with the likelihood of TMBOA 'expropriating' any ship into the argie 'Navy'.
I mean, they are cruisers, are they not?

”No cruise ship should 'visit' argieland (which) is an illegitimate pariah.” (Wow, we have succeeded in being illegitimate besides being a pariah!!).
Remember that it WANTS isolation. (Nothing further than the truth. Argentina happily relates to the world but refuses the old, unequal neo-colonialist ways).
NO argie passengers--probably terrorists. (Now this is the cherry on the cake. Name some of them please).
Argieland breaches international law and the UN Charter every day. (What-are-you-talking about????).
Finally, have you taken the time to read the above article? I believe it talks about yet an increase in visitors to Ushuaia. So you are pissing against the Patagonia wind--will end up soaked!

Hopeless.
Punta Arenas is by far a better choice, with the Nao Victoria Museum and historical district of the city, why would anyone waste their time in Argentina?
Apr 14th, 2015 - 07:46 am - Link - Report abuse 0Friendly people, non-existent crime, pro-Falklands attitude and excellent tourist facilities... Why waste your time in Argentina?
