Has the U.S. reached “peak oil” at current price levels?

The United States Energy Information Agency once again capitulated on the myth that rig counts don't matter and the productivity of wells would largely offset, leaving the industry on a continuous path to higher output. The current consensus of 500,000 B/D additional growth in 2015 US production now appears very much at risk. Read full article

Oil prices will rise to compensate.

How many oil companies go to the wall in the meantime is anybody's guess.

This picture will change dramatically once Odumbo is out of office and the Coastlines are opened, Gulf reopened and Alaska opened. The USA is chock full of oil. We are just waiting for the Idiot running our country to get out of office so we can get back to finding it and selling it.
It can't come soon enough for me.

    I told you so.

Yet another thing I was right in. I'm sure yankeeboy lost millions (of monopoly money), with his laughable predictions.

With the oil easy money now done, all that's left is the velocity money of negative interest rates fueling yet another house bubble. When that goes, there is no floor to land on, since this time the FED won't have anything to fight the fall with.

I wouldn't want to be in NorthAmoland in the next 3-5 years.

So oil price falling causes drop in production.

    Of course.

    That's how market forces work.

I see even Nostrils agrees that market economies work.

    No!

Considering how clueless you are Hepatia it isn't surprising that you don't understand.

I'm not a Brit and you are not America asswipe.

You've been around long enough to know who we are talking of.

WTF do you get out of pretending to be an American and in America?

Because they feel it gives an 'international' flavour to supporters of the Argentinian government.

http://en.mercopress.com/2015/04/20/has-the-u.s.-reached-peak-oil-at-current-price-levels#comment393872: I think you need to read my post. I make no claim to be “America [sic]” or American or any other nationality. Neither do I claim to be in America or anywhere else. This is deliberate. My nationality or nationalities and my country or countries of residence are of no legitimate concern of yours.

I have only the vaguest of notions of who you are referring to when you use the racial or ethnic slurs of “Tobi” or “Nostrils”. As far as I can determine you apply these terms to Venezuelans, Brazilians and Argentinians.

I know a number of British colleagues and friends that also are not familiar with these therms. I'm guessing that their use is restricted to the British extreme right - the National Socialists and related groups. This is why I asked the question.

    Wow. I'm a little dumbstruck.

Another person who hides their nationality and location. Hardly surprising. I mean I see this on a dozen different fora. And always ALWAYS the poster supports a country such as Russia, China, Venezuela or Argentina.

They never NEVER support the UK or the US or any other western country. In other words, countries that don't pay for people to post positive comments on their behalf.

“I have only the vaguest of notions of who you are referring to when you use the racial or ethnic slurs of “Tobi” or “Nostrils” ”

It would seems so considering these terms are NEITHER racial nor ethnic.

“As far as I can determine you apply these terms to Venezuelans, Brazilians and Argentinians.”

Well Hepatia just proved that he really doesn't read much on this forum.

Captain Poppy, you'll need to reply. Hepatia won't reply to me. Again, hardly surprise.

I'm honestly laughing too hard at his stupidity to be coherent for much longer.

It's because your only “argument” against those people, is where they live.

If they live inside the affected country, it's because their system is corrupt and indexes are lying. If they live outside, it's because they fled that system, according to your logic.

The only thing corrupt here, is that every same logic, that keeps assuring you that anyones views of a fair society, is somehow tied to an address...

That is bullshit stevicita. Aside from being in another country for business reason, far and few people up and move to another country unless it is oppressed, depressed, they are are in exile or have a criminal background.

Hep c has told us and inferred often she resides in the USA. This is a common BS RG troll tactic to say.....see, people from all over the world suppose us Argentine's a nd we all know the truth in that.

The connection is really quite simple about supporting Argentina's very own special lady, aka cunt lips kirchner; if it is so great then why leave....on your own accord? Could not make it there? Education opportunities? Better for you kiddies? etc, etc. Yes someones location matters when it comes to them supporting a failing country.....whether it be an old supa tupa in Europe or an geriatric journalist in Toronto. The day may come (doubtful though) when I will want to leave my country, but I will stick to traveling because despite it's faults and problems.........it is my country where I was born, lived, served and will die. So yeah, that's bullshit stevicita and location of trolls matters.

BTW....your arguments are stronger coming within your country then supporting it from afar.

    @14 Captain Poppy
“Aside from being in another country for business reason, far and few people up and move to another country unless it is oppressed”: NO!

    “depressed,” NO!

    “they are in exile” NO!

“or have a criminal background.” NO!

BUT, I am in fact “one of the few and far” people to move for a good retirement. In fact MANY people move out of the USA, paying the 50% of all their worldly wealth to the tax man to cut all ties with their country of birth.

We certainly have enough of them in Uruguay, all crying in their coke how hard it is to live here. They need to grow up and 'get a grip'.

I am however pissed off with the bible-thumping idiots from the states who infest the area I live in wanting to 'bring Jesus into my life'. They just don't seem to understand the word atheist at all. Stupid bastards.

Hence the “far and few”. I did not want to box myself into a corner because there are always more reason but the other are more common.

I am aware many Americans move in retirement. I am in a new career but could retire but at my age I feel I'm still an active guy. But I think accordingly to Stevie I am poor on a military pension and have to work.

I can't help you with the bible thumpers. Here in the USA it's the GOP and ultra conservatives who are sticking the bible up everyone's ass for the good of the country and morality....go figure. An Arizona GOP senator wanted to make church attendance mandatory. I would be happy to ship them all to Jonestown with Jim Jones special kool aid. Nasty mess that was.

That is totally irrelevant Poppy, as I can discredit your claims to live where you say you do, like the fart of a pigeon.
And sincerelly, I could not care less where you guys home from.
I have already stated where I live, and have no intention to add more substance to the matter. It's just non of your business.

If you seek friends, try a dating site. I'm sure they will provide you with the desired information.
