What a shame for Tony Martin. All those years of work and still there's a nearby source of rats. Blockade the rat source!

The ONLY problem I have ever had with the administration of the South Atlantic territories by the UK government has been the incredibly a STUPID decision by environmental idiots to eliminate the reindeer population of South Georgia.

I agree with the rat elimination to protect the bird species, but killing the reindeer was a crime. Shame on all the bastards responsible!

The deer were an artificial invasive species too. Lack of predators and human consumption enabled their population to explode. The purpose of both programs is to restore the islands to enable the native species with few other habitats to thrive.

It will be interesting to see if the rat program works. I have my doubts that they'll kill every last one and the exercise will need to be repeated.

Artificial invasive species' is the key. Deer can cause a lot of damage. Look what happened when rabbits were introduced to Australia.

Yeah it would be a bit stupid to get rid of the rats and then leave the deer who did an equal amount of damage.

Why was killing an alien species a crime? Reindeer were only introduced to South Georgia a century ago and were causing damage to the environment.

Yeah it would be a bit stupid to get rid of the rats and then leave the English who did an equal amount of damage.

Yes if you leave an alien species alone it will ultimately destroy the inhabitants. Just ask the Amerindians (if you can find one).

    Bad luck Marcos.

    The British are still there.

    No reindeers
    No Argentineans.
    Soon no rats.

And you can't do anything about it.

Introduction of reindeer was a POSITIVE factor. Just like introducing European human immigrants to South America. Perhaps you would like to return Argentina back to its original inhabitants.

I would suggest you start with the Southern Italians, followed by the Syrians and Lebanese, and if that's successful... The Southern Spaniards...

Probably the most important species to poison would be the Peronist race, but they seem the most difficult to kill...

Oh yes, give free helicopter one way rides to all the wackos that think reindeer are an invasive species...

My new bumper sticker: NUKE A TRANSGENDER REINDEER KILLING BIRD WATCHING ENVIRONMENTALIST.

Lord Ton, YOU are an alien that should be dis-introduced to your non-native environment. Cows and sheep are another good example...

Kill the rats... Great! Kill the reindeer... Burn in everlasting hell!

Other than that, have a wonderful day!

This isn't another one of your wind-ups like the Russian 'commercial' plane service for the Falklands by any chance?

Or are you Father Christmas? :o)

A herd of reindeer from South Georgia now run on Beaver Island in the British Falkland Islands so they are not all gone.

Sooner or later a malvinazi eradication project will also be needed.

How difficult would it be to remove all the paulcedrons?
A unwanted, invasive, feral, foul-mouthed, ridiculous, idiotic species of malvinista, with no morals, manners or scruples whatsoever.
ln fact a wasted space with shit-for-brains.
Without them/it(?), the world would be a better place.
