“Argentina is a country where it is worth investing in and producing, not only because of its natural resources, also because of the human resources we have” said president Cristina Fernández in Moscow on an official visit to Russia. She praised the “recovery of Argentina's flag carrier that allows connectivity among all the zones in the country, not only the richest ones.” Read full article

    Are you sitting comfortably?

A modern fairytale that KFC told all the little children of Russia.

I know the Russians love such fantasy stories. They have plenty of their own and have many books and children films.

This wicked widow has added to their collection.

    Night, night children.

The plight of Tonga is clearly a warning to those who take China as their financial saviour.

TMBOA however has made sure all the shit falling from the sky in just a few years will not be falling on her as she will be in another country.

It is difficult for me to feel sorry for these people when they 'think' things are going to happen, and then do not appear, when they clearly have nothing in writing to enforce the matter.

As regards to the 'meeting' it will be like an old cow being led to the slaughter.

If TMBOA is stupid enough to accept the old, long-range bombers, the argies may well live to regret it in an unimaginable manner.

@8. Shouldn't that “think” have an uppercase T?
    @11. Is that “farse” intentional?

And now let's return to reality. And I will translate.
”a “redefinition of the role of the State”, which must not only include market factors but also “consumers, producers and industry”.
The new role of the State is to skim everything. And make sure a 'fair' percentage finds it's way into a head of state's purse.

Enough jokes about “the highest growth cycle in our history.”

“If we add a foreign restriction to an internal restriction, we are burying the economy; that is why the theory of adjustment is not a solution. Adjustments cause huge discontent, bad expectations and institutional instability. Argentina had five presidents in a week, in 2001, there you have institutional consequences,” Who imposed all the internal restrictions? And that explains the huge discontent, bad expectations and institutional instability.

the existence of a “new economic and geopolitical order” that urges nations to “conceive each others as partners,” not just as “buyers and sellers.”
    Nobody else has noticed.

    Blah, blah, blah.

Why doesn't she just ask how much Russia is going to give her and how much it's going to cost argieland until the West takes pity? Or will she be providing land where China and Russia can position ballistic missiles? Will that be argieland's future? Obliteration?

She made a stop in Granada to meet with the head of the Argentine Israeli Orchestra...great. Any time Kiciloff, Timerman, and CFK leave argentina together, there's a risk they all take their exile in israel. Cristina owns the casinos so she is very liquid. All of her properties in Patagonia can then be turned over to the israeli s heavily populating the area.

Well, Mr. Conqueror. It seems the West has taken “pity” already.
Argentina went to raise $500 million by selling the Bonar 2024. It got $1.4 billion, and nine out of 10 dollars came from outside--without paying a cent in commissions.
“Apparently the Russians were asking Cfk why would anyone invest there if they can't expatriate their profits,” writes YB at #12.
I am telling you again. Your hate for a country that is breaking new ground in absolute disregard of the IMF's common wisdom prevents you from seeing the real picture. Rant less and read more. You'll be surprised.

    @Enrique Massot
“It got $1.4 billion, and nine out of 10 dollars came from outside--without paying a cent in commissions.”

So, now - all of a sudden - borrowing money abroad is a good thing? This gov't has berated former gov't for doing exactly this, and when they do it themselves - to the tune of 9% interest rate - Al Capone rate for today's standards - this is a good thing? Heck, the K gov't even made a museum in memory of the foreign debt disaster that occurred little more than 10 years ago. Never again...my a*se.

“Without paying a cent in commissions.” What the hell is the matter with you?

You clearly have got no clue what is going on here in Argentina, Enrique Massot. Your posts smack of a hard headed ideologue who doesn't care whether 30% of the population lives in poverty. You choose to look away from the fact that children starve in the northern provinces, as long as your leftish agenda, even a fake one, is pursued. Shame on you!

You do know stevicita no one with a half a brain is saying the USA debt situation is a “good thing”. Yet you try to imply that we do love debt. Your simplistic thinking, lack of knowing the USA people and too much googling is painting you a bigger fool in each post. The fact remains that the USA has not re-negotiated 93% of it's debt load for 27% of the original amount and screwed the other 7% like Argentina has. No wonder you see debt like cancer. What if we pull an Argentina? Our debt would be under 5 trillion.....right....should we pull an Argentina stevicita? What might out 18 trillion GDP shrink to?

    You were better as Guzz.

Dan was.... Let's say his visit to Uruguay made him a better man.

He did make people squeal, especially homeless people and those with no families. That's the kind of man he was, the kind of men produced way up north.

Saying I lie is tantamount that the earth is flat and I am certain you believe in geocentism.

Truth just kills you. It eats you alive with fear of where you live. Calling me a liar of my location will not make me a liar....even saying it every day....and hopping on one leg. I use to think you were a fool.....now I realize you are a fools fool and a jester.

Your whereabouts are not of my business.

My biggest joy in regard to you sad sacks are the Buenos Aires election results yesterday shows there is good, normal people....at least in the city......and hope for the country. EXCLUSIVE: 'Falklanders would have BETTER lives under Argentina's rule' says minister
FALKLAND islanders would be “stress-free, more democratic and have better lives” under Argentine rule, the country’s minister for the islands has said.

    QESTION,
Why does Argentina have a minister for the Falkland Islands?

Why has the Falkland Islands government and the British government objected to this,

Surely no country has a legal right to appoint a minister to another country without that countries permission,

    Just a question.

    p/s
could the Falkland’s appoint a minister for Argentina..??
