A close ally of Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff and currently part of her government's coalition said “too much stealing” by Lula da Silva's ruling Workers Party (PT) is responsible for the country's political crisis and public opinion disenchantment with politics. Read full article

Apr 28th, 2015 - 07:55 am - Link - Report abuse 0Lupi distances himself from P.T. but says much much more.
Apr 28th, 2015 - 09:24 am - Link - Report abuse 0He has accepted the total disgrace of the Brasilian nation.
Brasil has become a pariah of the same order as Argentina,
it may take years - and a new people - to make society right again.
Stole too much..... So stealing just a bit is OK ???? That's the problem.
Apr 28th, 2015 - 10:57 am - Link - Report abuse 0But what will change?
Apr 28th, 2015 - 11:18 am - Link - Report abuse 0How will the PT be forced out of 'government' (hate using that word for SA) if Lupi doesn't break the coalition?
Has The Chief Crook Lula been seen lately? Ha, ha, ha.
Brazil really is a third world country. I bet the European automakers who have recently spent millions each on new plants and models in Brazil are really impressed with this bunch.
So I was right. Lulu and Dilma ARE thieves. So bang 'em up. None of the pussyfooting that politicians usually get when it's found that they are crooks. Let's ask the Brazilian people. Two options.
Apr 28th, 2015 - 02:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0(1) Should Dilma and Lulu be housed in custodial accommodation where the only thing missing is the freedom to open the door and walk out? Five-star or better. Visits whenever. Phones. TV. The best cuisine. Suitable exercise and sunbathing facilities. And so on.
OR
(2) Should they be thrown into dirty, dank, rat-infested cells. Clothed in rags. Fed on bread and water. Twenty-three hours in solitary every day. Only relieved by their daily hour of beating. Bastinado? Chained to the cell wall.
Let the people decide!
Interesting comments about “government subsidies and handouts”, although difficult to see how he would get elected on that platform, in a country with many more have not’s than haves.

“The PT is over. They didn't invent corruption but they stole too much, they exaggerated and their project became a project to remain in office” ....
Apr 29th, 2015 - 07:11 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Finally an insider to all the thievery that went on during Lulla'a two terms and Dilma's first, and is STILL occurring, has had the decency to say it as it is......
........and regarding the dependency on government that the Bolsa Família and other indecent handouts have created, Lupi also said what I've been saying all along :
“That is true”, but the very programs that helped the lower classes to climb socially also created 'dependency' and today “there are people who don't want to work, they prefer to continue receiving government subsidies and handouts”.
Nice state of affairs, a situation which Dilma cannot control, and Lulla does not want controlled.
the political party that stole more called PSDB. holy hypocrisy ... hahaha ...
Apr 30th, 2015 - 12:26 am - Link - Report abuse 0@9 HaHa you lot must ALL BE CORRUPT if you think that. Wasn't it Russia and Brazil that brought Argentina to its knees in 2001, it is happening again by the looks of it.

Apr 30th, 2015 - 02:23 pm - Link - Report abuse 0the political party that stole more called PSDB...
Is that what Lulla told you ?? the mensalão, which , due to your ignorance, you have perhaps never heard of, was masterminded by Lulla and carried out by his right-hand man, José Dirceu.....and was the largest corruption scandal ever uncovered in Brazil - until then...Now, it has been topped by the Petrolão, corruption perfected and taken to heights unknown by Brazil...again, masterminded by the PT (read Lulla) and carried out under Dilma's watch, who, despite being Minister of Mines & Energy, and President of the Council of Petrobras from 2003 to 2010, knew nothing about it.....
But go on asshole, you don't need to believe me....just look at the shit that Brazil is in - an exclusive gift from the PT for all Brazilians...
