“According to Nisman's case the Argentine government sponsored the MoU as a mechanism to cover up Iranian participation in the attack in exchange for increased trade, including oil and food.”
The story should have mentioned that several judges have subsequently dismissed Nisman's denunciation as having no basis at all.
The fact that the prosecutor died in suspicious circumstances that are still being investigated does not change the fact that his 289-page denunciation was full of smoke. The famous MoU was approved by Congress and therefore cannot constitute a “plan criminal.”
What remains to be uncovered is what led Nisman to present such a botched document, and of course, what led to his death and how he died.
In that regard, it will be very interesting to find out about Nisman's numerous telephone conversations during his last hours with former intelligence czar Jaime Stiuso and opposition legislators Laura Alonso and Patricia Bullrich.

His 289 page criminal case file should be made public, ensuring transperancy.

CFK and Timerman must be investigated to clear their names.

Not sure of this is what you mean, but 675 pages in English here: http://www.peaceandtolerance.org/docs/nismanindict.pdf

I'd have to agree with Enrique on this: it's smoke.

Argentine justice , you are not serious are you? Where in earth are you living, cannot be in Argentina you are so out of touch. If you read the comments about the judiciary they say “ the judge who is a Kirchirite sympathiser said this or that ”. No matter your statement. The judiciary “ SHOULD BE COMPLETELY IMPARTIAL ” but we all know that to be false. Incidently my recollection is that the MOU was considered to be “ UNCONSTITUTIONAL ” by some of the judiciary ( depending on which side of the fence they are )

@1. All argie judges are bent, one way or another. Isn't about half of the argie congress bent as well? What you need to be concerned about is when the revelations about your part in Nisman's murder will come to light. Being in another country isn't a defence, you know. Are you watching for the RCMP?

The Iranians killed Nisman. Follow the trail of money that links Iran to Venezuela to Argentina. He was dispatched because of what he knew and as a warning. What he knew was never in those documents.

That document is not the one. I could not find Nisman's denunciation in English--just one in Spanish--you may try Google translator.

You are right--the MOU was declared unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
However, to try and call the MOU “a criminal plan” is a stretch. The document went through a parliamentary process in the open before being approved by the Congress. Lawmakers cannot be declared criminals when they do what they were elected to do.

There are suspicions the Iranian option was strongly pushed by the Mossad and the U.S. through former intelligence czar Jaime Stiusso. Many believe the Syrian and local actors should have been investigated too. But, they should ask you who apparently know better than anybody else.

I just envy the reliable sources that make you know the absolute truth when the rest of us must go with imperfect assumptions.

If you read my post again, nowhere do I say that it was a “ a criminal plan ” ( your words not mine ) or maybe you suspect it to be. Typical Argie looking to find something that is not there.
