    The statement from Visa is the beginning of the end for Blatter. If the big sponsors pull out FIFA is stuffed. Money is power.

    “Key sponsors of FIFA have expressed “serious concern” after the US accused senior officials of football's governing body of racketeering, fraud and money laundering”.

    What is astounding, is not the corruption itself, but the fact that the sponsors now “express serious concern”.........how can they be so naive ? but if they want to put their money where their mouths are, let them start by withdrawing their sponsorships unilaterally and prove they don't want anything to do with corruption. Otherwise, their indignation is just for show.

    Most of the sponsors, such as Nike, as also tried to the playoffs. I think everyone is worried about getting caught up in the scandal.

    Over ten years ago, the Chilean Olympic committee had its own corruption scandal and the members involved were simply voted out.

    @3 Chicureo,
    That's what I mean......faking surprise and serious concern....who do they think they are fooling ? With corruption there's always two sides, those that give, those who take. Both should get screwed.
