Disclaimer & comment rulesThought this would be straightforward in Bolivia. Just say Reject consumerism. You can't afford it.
Jul 10th, 2015 - 10:06 am - Link - Report abuse 0Maybe if the Catholic Church 'allowed' South American women to have control of their own wombs, control over their own reproductive rights, then maybe the problem of overpopulation vs diminishing resources would be solved?
Jul 10th, 2015 - 12:22 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Currently speaking, Uruguay is the ONLY country in South America where abortion is legal. The rest of the continent remains in the 19th century.
Truly, it is the women and children who suffer.
Millions of them.
Unnecessarily so.
This 'pope' could make a massive change.
If he chose to. ...
I expect he has the common Argentine disease of big mouth and small balls...
Very disappointing!
@3. Argies have balls? What strange women.

Jul 11th, 2015 - 03:53 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I prefer to be poor and not to change the basic right of babies given by nature to be born.

Jul 12th, 2015 - 07:56 am - Link - Report abuse 0Yes all these backward countries ( that do not practice abortion ) will remain poor whilst there is no contraception. The poor are like rabbits if the state continues to provide funding for children. It is so simple really, it is like Argentina and its debts, if you can't afford children DONT HAVE THEM and chase the fathers for the money to support their offspring.
As long as those that don't contribute one bloody cent to their own upkeep, carry-on feeling entitled, and the taxpayer agrees with this, there'll be no solution. You can't expect half-a-dozen to contribute enough to keep 100 lazy-buggers in clover.
