Guyanese President David Granger and Foreign Minister Carl Greenidge plan to attend the biannual Mercosur summit in Brasilia later this next, a Foreign Ministry spokesman confirmed to the Spanish news agency EFE. Read full article

    I do hope that Messrs Granger and Greenidge will stand up and accuse Maduro of colonialist imperialism. There IS a negotiated agreement/treaty that Maduro is breaching. Guyana should expose his mental incompetence and aim to have Venezuela declared a pariah state and be expelled from the UN.

    “A Caricom summit in Barbados supported Guyana against Venezuela's territorial claims and likewise a statement from the Commonwealth of Nations.”

    Therefore, to use Argentine logic, “the whole world” supports Guyana in its dispute.
