Tourism can be a good and a positive thing for both the host country and tourists but...

Be aware of, that some ethnics groups can have uncivilised behaviours and can produce negative economy impact to the locals especially if they own big gardens, a piece of land not in use, etc.

Let's analyse in depth the squatter behaviour scam to avoid you the pain to lose your valuable property.

In the begining the pseudo tourist can approache you with a big smile, looking quite frienly waving a flag from his nation looking for some help to find a destination, meawhile he start to telling you wonderful stories and fantasy tales about how good his country is, how rich he is and how his nation had build an empire thanks to the rule of law, honesty, education system, sciences and so on...

Warning!!! you are close to be scamed

At this point you have to be alert and suspicious that something wrong is going on, especially for you...

Another clear indicator that will help you to detect the land grabber is the sheep that the guy usually holds under his arm.

Don't get confuse it is not his pet otherwise this poor aninal will be his future source of income after he seized your garden or land by the squater scam while waving his flag.

He may ask you permission to feed his pet (The sheep under his arm) with some grass from your garden.

Of course many people will be willing to do so but be aware that this could be the point of no return for your belongings..

He will keep friendly chatting with you for hours while he is mentally measuring your garden and calculating how much profit can get from it.

All goes fine until nature calls and you have to go inside to your house to use the toilette.

That's it you lost he won...

When you return you will find a union jack flag in your garden with a big sign on it reading “BOT human rights and self determination applies here I want to remain British”.

    Well you have been advised...

“Tourism can be a good and a positive thing for both the host country and tourists but...

    exactly
    spot on

    some examples of that are:
    1. the english...of course
    worst tourists on earth.

@1. Your saga contrasts well with that of another ethnic group.

This group has a slightly different approach because it doesn't care how much land there is.

They will generally try to appear fairly well-off in order to allay your suspicions.

Once they get on to your land, they will shoot you.

Then they will claim that the land has “always” been theirs even if they don't speak the same language as you did before they killed you.

You won't be alive to see their flag raised so, solely for information, the two most important colours represent the group's character. They are white and yellow.

But then you all knew that. The group is well-known around the world for skiving and never repaying money it borrows. Your best option is to have a high wall with firing slots, weapons and a security “adviser” that can chase them all the way back to the slums they come from.

Brazil must toughen rules of visa to the US. They do not deserve to join the party because they are warlike, racist and donkeys.

I really do not like their way. They dirty the streets with their hamburgers and smelly sausages. All are very rude.

Poor Dany; Paul and Brasileiro, if they were actually intelligent enough to grasp the opportunity they could probably get some well paid work from tourism instead of posting these pathetic posts.

2014 was a great year for Australia. With 6.87 million visitors we earned US$32 billion from tourists. 9th highest earning country in the world.

To put this is perspective, no South American country received this many tourists even though they have land borders. And the 12 countries of South American only earned US$25 billion between them all.

Perhaps if Argentina didn't rant and rave like a lunatic as Dany did in post #1 then it would earn more than US$4.6 billion from tourists. My state with only 5 million people earned more than that.

So please Brits, listen to Paul and come spend your money here in Australia. And please Brazil make it more difficult for Americans to go there to spend money. Come here instead, the beaches are cleaner, safer and much better.

I'd like my government to earn more tax revenue from more tourists and build better infrastructure such as roads, schools, police stations and hospitals.

clearly your knowledge about tourism is zero, cero, nil, null, nada de nada, rien du tout.

the revenues of tourism are not based on the quantity but on the quality.
and as the whole-fucking-world knows, the english are not only the stingiest tourists on earth, but also the dirtiest and with the worst behaviour, mostly because of their alcoholism.

so, the few bucks you can get from a bunch of english tourists is nothing compared with the money you have to spend to clean the puke, to rebuild hotel rooms after they have been there, etc.

thats why the are the worst tourist in the face of earth.
    got it?????

Just as the rest of SA is enjoying a small boom PdelE and MVD are losing due to the stupidity of The Broad Fraud in attempting to dictate to the cruise liners that their ships MUST use local boats at exorbitant fees even though they do not meet passenger safety standards to disembark passengers to the shore.

    Like that will work, NOT.

These SA poseurs may have something.
Go to LATAM, they are very friendly people and they have great goods and services for wealthy NA or Brit tourists.

In Cuba f'rinstance, “Black Market” cigars were offered to me, “tax-free”, but with the correct certificates.
Alighting from my bus in Havana, I was offered “very young girls, low price”.

Peru, one of the more enlightened countries in SA, had much to see and were very accommodating.
While I was outside the Palace of Justice in Lima, watching the ceremonial guards goose-stepping around the courtyard, the Police were trying to sell me cocaine - how about that??

Did Oz/NZ as a tourist a few months ago. Fantastic place, loved the outback, friendly people, excellent dining, Aussie humour cracks me up. Done most of SA, Chile was the best, staggering scenery, lovely people, great wines. Peru still to come, looking forward to Michael Palins favourite place.

    via Janes.
The Venezuelan Navy is significantly expanding its amphibious transport capabilities and is now expected to receive two more Damen Stan Lander 5612 roll-on/roll-off landing vessels in August, according to local reports.
These two vessels were launched from the Damen Song Cam shipyard in Vietnam in mid-July and are part of a follow-on order for eight, valued at EUR94 million (USD102.1 million) and signed in February 2014. Damen's Song Cam shipyards will build another two landing vessels and it is expected that DAMEX - a joint Cuban-Dutch shipyard in Santiago, Cuba - will build the remaining four on order.
Those vessels will join four of the same class delivered between April 2012 and December 2014 by DAMEX.
Something weird is going on with Venezuela.

They're still increasing the size and capability of their military while they're in the midst of an economic meltdown? Why?

Regardless, they're arming up to fight someone....I just don't know who

the cruise passengers probably view your costume as “quaint” and “Olde World”, and your shoe shine box, as “cute”.

Do you keep all the centavos ( or whatever) or does most of it go to the Tourist Officials who 'let' you work there??

    Really?
6.87 million visitors spent US$32 billion or US$4,657 each on average.

Well that seems to be both quantity AND quality!

    Let's compare Argentina:
5.93 million visitors spent US$4.6 billion or US$775 each on average.

There's quite a quantity there, no reason it shouldn't overtake Australia considering it shares land borders with 5 countries compared to our 0.

But quality? At 1/6 the spend? Yup, you wish you could get more Brits.

    As does, Think.

CD2 has contempt for women as parasites.

Nostrils says he hates women and has no use for them, even his mother.

Unless these posters are all the person (could be) I am tempted to believe it is an Argentine cultural trait, or it is typical defence mechanism of the posters on here defending the inadequacies of CFK, Argentina, and themselves.

It must be awful to go through life trying to justify the failures of one's self.
