You have just quoted a journalist from Forbes, who is quoting a another from the Guardian. Who states: “Someone who knows a great deal more about statistics than I do thinks that as science it’s not in fact very good.”
So you have an article that relies on multiple hearsay, to refute a study by a psychologist in his area of expertise. When I went to school, such papers could only properly be rebutted by peer review.

Secondly, the article relies on multiple hearsay, moreover, “someone” is not a credible citation. Thirdly, the writers have no credentials to assess the study, ergo “peer review.” Come on remind me again what a great big winner you are; what you've actually proved is nothing.
