What they really need to do is find an easy way to desalinate sea water and pump it inland

All the hypocritical mega rich hollywood eco-nazi types still have green lawns and clean pools.

This is mostly a political problem.
CA has always been a mess. As long as its run by Dems it will continue.
Maybe they should break it into 5 States?

I've said it before that California could learn a lot from how Australia manages drought, especially our last drought which lasted for 1o years and saw our water reserves drop to their lowest levels here in Melbourne.

It the small things that can make a big difference sometimes such as dual flush toilets, aerators on taps etc. For instance, our average toilet flush has dropped from 11 litres to 3.3 litres or 2.9 gallons to 3.5 quarts (sorry I don't know the best way to measure outside metric).

Let's just say that you could get half of California using these toilets, then you would be saving 7.7 litres or 2 gallons each time they used the toilet. Say an average use of 6 times per day and you are saving a BILLION litres per day. Extrapolate that out and you have 100 BILLION gallons per year.

See, small changes. And that is only one idea.

There's plenty of water in N CA its a fight between the eco nazis and farmers on who get it though and right now the eco nazis backed by Odumbo's EPA are winning. They're going to have to wait until we get a new Prez to get sensible policies in place again.

A bit of an oxymoron, as Democrats are a bastion of 'community values'; whereas our Republican friends are totally into the politics of 'self-interest' and reject out of hand, any environmental responsibility for issues such as 'global-warming”.

If you're still one of the few nuts that believe in man made global warming I feel sorry for you.
    It has been debunked
    Try to keep up.
