China will be asking Argentina for a loan next.
    How times change.

Or better yet, China will be calling all their money in Argentina. See all those investments in SA?

Funny Boston awarded a bid to build their trains. They have to build a factory in Massachusetts and it is going up in Springfield. They've been sending a few Americans to China to “learn” their way. I wonder how China's collapse will affect all this?

All of this just reinforces what I have been telling everyone for years. The Chinese “miracle” is going to look worse than Argentina's “won” decade.
They've been putting out false numbers for years. The only reason there aren't mass riots yet is because their workforce is rapidly shrinking as the population ages. And that's not good.
This tumble has a way to go.
The World stock markets will over react but in the end the $ will flow into the USA. Which is the only safe place to put it.
China doesn't have much sway on our economy since we really don't export much to them. And as I have been saying Int'l companies have been xfering mfg to Mexico and other lower cost places for years. It may take them some time to ramp up but it is minor adjustments that will be easily absorbed.

I find it hilarious that all these years the Trolls on here called me every name in the book and went round and round when I said this would happen and they denied it.

    So again let me say
    Told ya

This is the beginning of the end of the dollar. BRICS will let the dollar rise and rise much so that our reserves are valued. Then it will be the SUN!

BRICS will withdraw its reservations at once! Then it will be the SUN!

    The South is the future!

    4. Like most of your posts that makes absolutely no sense.

All of the developing nations will have to sell their reserves to try to support their own currency. Russia, Saudi, China are blowing through theirs really fast.
Brazil will do the same if it hasn't already started.
They'll start panicking when the BReal gets to 4/1.
    maybe before

    7. The future contracts the Brazilian Central bank that they've been using since 2008 to manage the currency fluctuations are all spent. They now have to start using real U$ to support it.
Right now they have Net U$250B after the contracts are paid.
    Glug glug glug

Brazil is self-sufficient. The dollar reserves do not grow more. Still in the same place, waiting for China and Russia and ...Germany tighten the button.

    Five eyes and no vision!

You're going to be waiting a really long time.
Germany, China and Russia are either broke or on the verge of broke.
When the Euro gets to .75/1U$ Germany will have nothing to export profitably and lots of bills to pay.
Oil below $40 puts Russia in Collapse by next year
China, who knows but it is really really bad there.
They don't have enough $ to fix their economy.
Not near enough and a lot of mouths to feed.
My long range projection is that China breaks into a loose confederation of (basically) feudal states with a very weak Fed Gov't.

Brazil may be self sufficient just like you were in 60-80s
Except there's a lot more people now and a lot less resources.

Once they turn off the free $ to slum dweller programs the gov't will collapse.
Then we can see what really happens.

Germany is not broke nor is it on the verge of being broke.

Neither is it part of the BRICS. It is firmly entrench in the west and the EU.

Germans are astute economic managers and will not be riding to Brazil's rescue though they will happily make money from Brazil.

The EU is a mess as as the Euro goes lower Germany will have huge trouble because it can't export. It has taken on massive debt due and will have problems paying it back when their economy turns.

    Watch and see.

Uh, well sorry guys but the BRICS are an imagination.
Commodity prices, especially petroleum, have placed the major producers into negative growth projections. Depressed prices for wheat, soya, corn and petroleum will dramatically hit Brazil's economy. National indebtedness will substantially increase.
Russia will slog through the mess, but with negative growth. Sanctions are not helping.
India will continue with little change. Positive or negative...
China is a mystery, but they are definitely in enough trouble to affect everyone, including Chile as the copper price has fallen dramatically.
South Africa was always a joke. Their level of corruption is even worse than Argentina!
Bonus mentions: Argentina is sucking on a dry teat. China is getting to wean CFK... Venezuela currently is a perfect example of socialist Marxist social economic prosperity where veterinary medicine is being used by cancer patients and an abundance of basic food commodities stocked in supermarkets no longer exist.

I lived though a similar situation in Chile during the Unidad Popular of Allende. Waiting in line for buying nothing was the norm in 1973. Venezuela needs a Pinochet.

    14. How can that be when INDEC says they're growing at 3.8% last month?
    Bahahaahaha

I am pretty sure unless they get another Massive Pay Day Loan from China they're not going to make it until the end of the year.

Chile better make sure the tunnels are well guarded.

Ten signs your ego controls you:

    1. You feel elevated from gossiping about other people’s flaws

    2. You find yourself in a feisty discussion and you just can’t back down until you have ‘won’ the argument

    3. You constantly compare yourself to other people who you feel are better than you (better looking, more intelligent, happier, more wealthy)

    4. You constantly compare yourself to people who you feel are not as good as you (less intelligent, lower status)

    5. You feel jealous when other people do well

    6. You talk about yourself for 10 minutes before asking another how they are

    7. You’d rather win than do your best

    8. You often sulk when you don’t win that sports game or work challenge (instead of being proud of your attempt to do your best)

    9. You set yourself impossible goals and then beat yourself up when you don’t reach them

    10. You blame others when things don’t go your way

We have a few candidates, do we not?

Funny how a whole country of people you think are dumb make up the richest most powerful nation the world has ever seen.
Also a country that's bailed out your country more than once.
    Funny that.
    Sad sack
    Loser.

Speaking about the USA, since Yankeeboy obstreperously insists BRICS, EU, and basically everyone but US is f--ked:

    http://news.yahoo.com/living-carpet-green-slime-expands-across-lake-erie-205619651.html

So that's what an infinitely superior advanced country looks like... Argentina's lakes are blue and pure, how backwards can you be to get your lakes to look like that.

From what I understand, that's the same area where a river CAUGHT FIRE some years ago!!

    Hahahaha.

    22. Well we've bailed out most countries so choose one. I assumed it was UK but you can name it and I'm sure we've bailed it out more than once.

Toby, You find the most obscure posts. I live here and never see stuff like that. I also think you're the only person reading Yahoo news.
I challenge you to go to Tigre and La Boca and take a drink out of the river water.
Maybe you have already and that's what's fried your brains.

Tigre an la Boca have some of the highest cases of Cancer and Birth defects in the world due to the filthy water. You know the difference in the USA? If the water here looks dodgy we don't let our kids swim in it.
That could be one of the reasons Rgs are so stupid.
Swimming in tainted water and playing under crop dusters.
    Makes sense.
