Norwegian boat builder Selfa Arctic AS is now supplying the world's first electric fishing vessel. In effect Norwegian fishing company Øra AS has order the world’s first electric fishing vessel, which has been under construction since last autumn. Read full article

This is NOT an electric fishing vessel!

It is an electric propelled fishing vessel, the fish are not caught by electricity (yet).

I hope they have a tug on hand to pull it out of danger when the electrical system (inc the 'small 50kW generator) fails which does seem to be happening with main stream vessels with drive by wire power plants, especially big cruise vessels.
