The former treasurer of Brazil's ruling party was sentenced Monday to more than 15 years in prison for his role in a massive corruption scandal at state oil giant Petrobras. The judge investigating the scandal found Joao Vaccari, who was the Workers Party treasurer until April, guilty of corruption, money-laundering and conspiracy, and sentenced him to 15 years and four months. So jailing him isn't a coup but asking for Dilma's resignation is?
Anyway the serious question is. If Dilma had no idea what was going on when she was at Petrobas. And she had no idea what's been going on in her political party..... does she actually have any idea about anything?
I mean this woman is amazingly able to miss major problems everywhere she goes.
We give the example. But the investigations and trials of corrupt conservatives continue. However, you should not wait for big headlines in the media, since it is itself conservative. The number of conservatives who are being investigated is 8 times greater than that of labor.

I'd detest any politician in my country that was corrupt. No matter which side of politics they were on.
Their political beliefs would be totally unimportant. Corruption is corruption.
I agree!

Can you hear yourself ? While it would seem you agree with the sentences handed-down to Vaccari and Duque, you imply that they are the scapegoats of the conservatives......Actually hilarious to see how your devious mind works.
Inform yourself better : besides the PT, most of the other politicians indicted, are from the PP and the PMDB, who just happen to be the PT's best allies......coincidence sucks, doesn't it ??
As to your allegation that the number of what you call 'conservatives', being investigated, is 8 times larger than that of the Labour Party (PT), is wrong. Let's see why :
PT : 8, plus José Dirceu (Lula's ex-top Aide) = 09
PMDB : 10
PP : 32
PSB : 01
PTB : 01 (F.Collor)
So, belonging to the PT coalition, 52 ; not to mention the 5 PB Directors directly involved with corruption - Duque, Barusco, Costa, Cerveró, Zelada - all appointed by the PT and/or PMDB ;
The PSDB had 02 politicians being investigated - Aécio and Anastasia - but the Federal Court in Paraná has cleared them of all charges.
According to your math , if 8 times more conservatives were being investigated than socialists, that means that 418 conservatives have been indicted. Pls name them.
As to the mainstream media, unfortunately it is not conservative.......it is left-leaning and is loathe to publish anything unfavourable to the image of the PT or of fat D.
But I can agree with one thing : regardless of political beliefs, all corrupt politicians need to go to prison - after returning their ill-gotten gains.
so predictable...
