Guyana claims Venezuela is making “abnormal military deployments” near the border
Guyana President David Granger is claiming that Venezuela is making “abnormal and extraordinary military deployments” near the border between the two countries. He made the accusation on Tuesday, saying that he had received reports about the movement in eastern Venezuela/western Guyana. Read full article

Argentina is now beginning to feel real pain of Brazil's sustained economic decline. Now one is left to toss any more life jackets to Maduro. He really needs to mind his moves because an incursion into Guyana will find him waking to a US task force. Guyana has already reached out to the US and other countries. The lack of news of any response should be a red flag, even for an idiot like Maduro.
The territorial issue should be widely discussed before the North American oil companies can steal the oil from Venezuela / Guyana.

Invade with what? Canoes ? If my geography serves me right, Guyana is mainly jungle.
I have no doubt that the Brazilian armed forces are competent but would be utterly destroyed if they dared take on the USA. Remember , the USA has been fighting REAL hard men in Iraq and Afghanistan for years. They could roll over Venezuela in the blink of an eye. I don't see Chile, Colombia Paraguay or Uruguay getting involved. The joke that is Argentina ?
Brazil will stay out of any confrontation as they have enough trouble with their economy. The Russians and Chinese will not get involved.
