Brazil opposition lawmakers will push for impeachment proceedings to begin next week against embattled President Dilma Rousseff, local media reported Friday. It comes after the country’s top audit court, the TCU, ruled that the government’s 2014 accounts had been manipulated in the run-up to last year’s presidential elections to give a better impression of the economy and sustain spending on social programs. The sooner the better. Every “leader” should have a sign on his/her desk where he/she can read “The buck stops here” in whatever language is appropriate. Or, in the case of argieland and most of Africa, grunts. Kirchner should have it tattooed on the inside of her eyelids.

    Forget it! Dilma will not be overthrow because her support base is greater than the opposition.

    The PSDB was very barely seen by the people. I thought that the Labour government would not survive for another term, but after that poor democratic performance led by Aécio unethical, I begin to believe that Brazil will have two more labor mandates ahead.

    As already mentioned, ideally the military needs to declare a constitutional emergency and suspend the executive branch authority for a 60-90 day period with military law enacted.

    ALL leaders of the Worker's Party would be rounded up and summarily executed by firing squad. Other assorted Marxist-Socialists would be shot on sight (maybe with a 1,000 Real bounty) which would dramatically send a message to the leftists that Brazil is fed up with corruption and ready to progress into the real world...

    Lower scum Dilma supporters could hopefully be eliminated.

    I think you've never seen one of my videos. Chilíndio the military is the Brazilian people and the people are in favor of democracy. PSDB very serious mistake to fight against the people.

    On the other hand, when the military executes Rousseff and starts looking for you?

    ”ALL leaders of the Broad Fraud Party, especially with Tupas credentials, would be rounded up and summarily executed by firing squad. Other assorted Marxist-Socialists would be shot on sight (maybe with a 1,000 U$D bounty) which would dramatically send a message to the leftists that Uruguay is fed up with bank-rolling the stinking poor and corruption in the monopoly businesses, and ready to progress into the real world...”

    Your message works on so many levels! :o)

    Classic. Mercopeguin outs itself as the newsletter of the British physcopaths and facists.

    The top military brass is not made up of the same scum that the PT is. Their idea of democracy is somewhat different to yours. Even if fatty is not ousted, she 'll just be a lame-duck president, and Brazil will take twice as long to get out of the crisis.

    @7 Hippy
    Your observations are of the highest calibre. Weren't you on the short list for the Nobel Prize for Literature ??

    In Chile, just like Brazil, our people are represented in the military as well.

    ...that includes during 1973...

    Stringing her up with piano wire seems more just.

    In any case relying on Mercopeguin for news about Mercosul is a hopeless exercise. Better coverage on twitter. For instance: https://mobile.twitter.com/BenTavener/status/652963558683230208/photo/1

    I took notes and I'm liking what I'm seeing. Thank you.

    English language is a shit!

    I write more pronouns than verbs. Or these guys are very individualistic or will kill their own hands.

    I can not understand as much as I try.

    @2. Doesn't she have 8% popularity or less? What a powerbase. Is that 8% of people who wouldn't shoot her on sight? What part of that 8% were paid to lie?
    @4. I think your videos would probably be illegal in most parts of the world. Just think of the file the NSA has on you.
    @7. Are you trying to mislead? The British people keen on physical aspects of the world and faces? Ever thought of getting an education?
    @11. You should get together, at a distance, with Hepatia. Education for all.

    @10,11
    Well done, Lula and Dilma must be very proud of you as you make up 8% of the electorate, and the remaining 92% will be glad to see them gone.

    Even Folha has better reporting than Mercopenguin. This, in English: http://www1.folha.uol.com.br/internacional/en/brazil/2015/10/1692110-forget-it-im-not-going-to-resign-from-my-post-im-going-to-persist-says-brazils-speaker.shtml

    So why do you bother reading it, and more to the point, keep posting anti -British comments, whatever the subject in question.
    How about throwing in your “25” years mantra.

    Glad to see you admit you are lacking in the upper story - “I can not understand as much as I try” - trying is not sufficient. You also need a brain.

    @14 Hippy
    Eduardo Cunha - the president of the Lower House - can resist all he wants, but in his case - being an elected official - it's up to the Supreme Federal Court to decide his fate. Same goes for fatty Dilma - if the impeachment process is started against her, it will no longer depend on what 'she' wants, despite her protests ; If Congress votes she has to go, she will - and hopefully, straight to jail.

    Even the British non propaganda publications do a better job of reporting on Mercosul than Mercopenguin does - as evidenced by this op ed: http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/oct/09/brazil-dilma-rousseff-president-impeachment

    But the Guardian was the entity that had its operation trashed by British secret police thugs a few years ago.
