Argentina's 25 October presidential election results remain 'uncertain', and with the current percentages from opinion polls, at the very limit, there is a runoff in November, according to Mariel Fornoni, head pollster from Management & Fit. Read full article

Disclaimer & comment rulesA runoff, yet in all the LATAM papers scioli is already picking and announcing his cabinet. What is wrong with that picture? The outcome has been prearranged, that's what is wrong.

Oct 16th, 2015 - 06:03 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Outcome prearranged? What are you talking about?
Daniel Scioli is confident--and he is right to be.
How often have you seen a party being in government for 12 years and still enjoying the public confidence numbers that have been shown so far?
Only a party that has an exceptional record of unprecedented, positive changes, as the Victory Front has.
The lies of the opposition and their friendly media have been too many and too bold. They have exhausted the patience of Argentines and do not have much effect anymore.
We'll talk again after Oct. 25.
Cuba has been it fo 60ish years.
Oct 16th, 2015 - 06:17 pm - Link - Report abuse 0One question for your, What district will you stand in line to vote?
Kirchner's fucked Argentina. Between the deficits increasing at an increasing rate over the past 8 years, over valued currency, inflation, restricted imports, and NO RESERVES/Money. You're becomging a worthless old man to even respond to as you know Argentina when it was an military dictatorship and not an elected dictatorship.
SHow everyone (as if they do not already know) just how ignorant you truly are. Deny these numbers:
Over 7 billion in unpaid imports
11 billion to China
7.5 billion in private deposits
1.6 billion due to France
You're tits on a bull Quique. Go sit in a corner and diddle your son unless he escaped. You pathetic fucking pedophile. Your cock should be severed and stuffed in your mouth.

Dear Sir/s...
Firstly, I would like to remind you about your own rules...:
--- ”...rude or foul language, discriminative comments (based on ethnicity, religion, gender, nationality, sexual orientation or the sort), spamming or any other offensive or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. Please report any inadequate posts to the editor.”---
Secondly, I would like to report the above post number three (3) from Yankee poster Captain Poppy as clearly inadequate.
I quote ...:
***You pathetic fucking pedophile. Your cock should be severed and stuffed in your mouth....***
However, I don't expect you Sir/s to follow your own secondary rules because the PARAMOUNT rule at Mercopress seems to be to allow ANY form of insult, as far as they originate from an Anglo and are directed against a Latino...
I remain at your service...

Awww, everyone is picking on them.
The truth is Enrique defends astonishing arrogance by Scioli and, CP, that is awful language. Why undermine yourself by reducing your posts to such hideous insults. Think, you have been just as revolting in your posts so don't play the victim.
It's the neanderthal in me Elaine. Once a grunt......always a grunt to the core. I try to walk softly but it's that big stick that always reminds me, that not matter way.......we're all animals and I will not be food.

An extinct race by now, I Think....
Old Barilochean Erich Priebke died in exile in 2013...
My old German neighbour, whose real name I never knew, and who entertained many of us responding to the ubiquitous question about how he arrived to Argentina with a dry En Submarino went in 2010..., as far as I remember...
In the USofA, on the other hand there are still a lot of surviving Viet Nam baby killers...
Not to mention that new breed of brave Yank fighter pilots that have specialized in bombing Hospitals and Wedding Parties in Afghanistan...
Hooruh......all the way.......
Oct 16th, 2015 - 10:47 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Your meanie words are going to make me cry....not! My enemies shot me.......have you honestly convinced yourself that those meaningless words do anything? If we are going to talk in line.....your countrymen dropped nuns out of helicopters, stole babies, tortured the parents, started a war on innocent islanders then Tortored your own soldiers.
No effect right? So why bother being stupid?
I guess I will see for myself. Think I can watch NFL football in Patagonia? I usually can in Buenos Aires.
Uhhhhhh...
Oct 16th, 2015 - 11:18 pm - Link - Report abuse 0My enemies shot me.... is the justification used by Turnipy Yankee poster at (10) for his government recent bombing of hospitals and wedding parties in Afghanistan...
Sounds pretty much like old Patagonian Nazi Erich Priebke's justification for his participation in the Fosse Ardeatine massacre...
Both justifications equally sick and unacceptable.
PS...:
Luckily, I survived to enjoy the fact that almost all of my countrymen who dropped nuns out of helicopters, stole babies, tortured and killed their parents, started a war on squatting Engrish civilians in Malvinas, tortured our own soldiers and many, many other nastynesses are either in Argentinean prisons, serving long sentences, hiding in the USA, under the protective wings of their old Yank anticommunist comrades in arms from Fort Gulick & Fort Benning or died in disgrace...
If it upsets you change it or shutup. You sound like a radish.

Usually insults are used by characters who are just incapable of formulating an argument.
They are also used by the arrogant who cannot withstand controversy. Especially when reality is spitting in their face.

Oct 17th, 2015 - 11:19 am - Link - Report abuse 0Oct.25, I expect Mr. Scioli to win by a confortable margin of ~12%..., making a ballotage unnecessary.
On that date, I'll vote Peronist for the first time in my life...
Are you voting...?
@2
Oct 17th, 2015 - 12:54 pm - Link - Report abuse 0the Victory Front has.
What victory?
Growing budget deficits, no reserves on their own, fear of imports, incredible inflation, no more trade surpluses and serious capital flight that Kissitoff cannot control by outlawing the U$. How's that dead cow doing? Worlds oil most be flocking there in stampedes. I heard sciolis speech that when he wins, he will be making overseas trips to Texas and Europe for investment in argentina.

Enrique,
Enjoy your fantasy.
Neither you nor Think/voice will have to live with the consequences.
Why does Enrique refer to 'our country' when he chooses not to live there. If he had any moral fibre he would move back to Argentina.
Oct 18th, 2015 - 01:35 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Quique calling Argentina his country is like me calling Russia my country. My grandfather evacuated during the Bolsheviks.
Oct 18th, 2015 - 04:06 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Quique is a self proclaimed peronist. Moral and peronistas do not reside in the same sentence or content.

Oct 18th, 2015 - 04:39 pm - Link - Report abuse 0A reminder that Enrique is living in exile.
His country rejected him, and if they did not formally banish him, he is probably officially, he probably fled ahead of the law, and is 'persona non grata' if he tries to return.
It probably hurts his pride, and smarts when he thinks about the right wing
('moderate', anywhere else) backlash against the militant Communists and Socialists, Stevie's SUPA TUPAS, throughout SA, who robbed banks for funds and murdered politicians.
Now he is on the anti-neo-liberal bandwagon, supposedly fighting for the People.
In reality, CFK and Scioli know that the poor will vote for them - as long as they remain poor. Peronists are building a solid voting base!
Heaven forbid if they teach them to fish, they would be self sufficient. Handouts by all means keeps them needy, like a heroine addict.
Oct 18th, 2015 - 06:20 pm - Link - Report abuse 0AFTER LONG TWELVE YEARS.
Oct 22nd, 2015 - 04:18 pm - Link - Report abuse 0I have always said that it's too stupid to make a religion of pulls, in fact, management and fit said during primary elections in 2011 that we were going to have a ballotage, because the president didn't get not even a 40% of acceptation, however a lady called C. F. K. destroyed that posibility after getting a 50% of the votes, and with 30 points of difference.
Next sunday, we are going to choose a new president, like since 32 years ago, but without suffering any of the economic calamities that many of those cretins econochantas warned for the country on tv, if the government didn't apply the austerity plans that are destroying the jobs in some european nations, or if the C. F. K's administration didn't comply with the usurious rulling of an adict judge like Griesa.
Whoever wins next sunday, or in a ballotage, nobody can deny that we are having a deep cultural change, that's why, even the most reactionary and conservative politicians from our country repeat once and again that if one of them wins the elections, he will be disposed to keep the achievements that workers could get in all these long twelve years of kirchnerism. Although it's more than obvious that they don't believe in those achievements, which explains the reason why their parties voted against most those meausures at the congress, however it's a clear signal which shows that in the context of the new Argentina, there is not so much social acceptance for the neoliberalism that they represent, because people have already empowered of all what they could get in this politic time.
