Argentina literally has no money, assuming that they will pay their bills. Take that for what it is worth.
A word to my Argentine neighbors across the Andes: your Peso has been kept at a ridiculous exchange rate to support your corrupt Peronist government that has plundered Argentina's wealthy resources and nearly ruined your future economy for a generation. Before the upcoming election, buy anything you can with what will be soon highly devalued Pesos. Tinned jurel (mackerel) will far better hold its value in your kitchen than Pesos in your bank. Obviously, Dollars will remain the best, but not deposited in the bank.

You can say disparaging remarks about Chile, and YES we're about to go into a serious recession. Most of our mining sector is cutting back on new developments and new investment is about to go into a very sluggish protracted few years. Our socialist-reformist government has made too many countless expensive promises while discouraging new investors. She's not a bad person, and despite her dodgy son, she's not a thief like Dilma and Cristina, but she's incompetent.

We are well set to defend our national interests with the best army, air force and navy. (Unlike the ARA, our warships don't roll over and sink while tied up in the harbor...)
Columbia, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay can survive (obviously with pain) a major recession. Argentina, Ecuador, Venezuela, Brazil, Bolivia and Argentina will need a bloody government overthrow.

Have they mastered the Vulcan cloak of invisibility á la Star Trek ?
I could say that we have 3,000 invisible troops in N.Syria. How can you disprove that ?
Russia has a device that prevents the detection of its forces by radar or even satellites. This equipment is installed in northern Syria to not to interfere with civil aviation in Israel. Russian planes cross the border of Turkey and no one sees them.

At this point it is quite clear something that, most of the islanders or british people, probably don't know because they don't understand the way fascist/peronists think and act. For peronist people be loyal to their leader, CFK, is something to be proud of so, they like to show off with their loyalty to the cause.

This is a very common practice if you work in a public institution or company. This loyalty will, eventually, assure them to keep on working there and even with better positions.
Enrique Massot seems to be the perfect example of this kind of peronist people. He does exist, he lives in Canada. I checked him in facebook but I don't know where he works...most probably in a consulate or something like this....

The barbaric, fascist and populist government of Juan Domingo Peron (the very same person who decorated Francisco Franco, Augusto Pinochet and Alfredo Stroessnerr) was deposed by a coup for several reasons. The main one is that the peronist party illegally changed the Natiuonal Constitution aiming to keep on ruling the country for decades.
Peronism was banned as nazi party is currently banned in Germany. Unlukily they failed to make peronism desapear from history.
Peronism appeared in 1946. Since them they ruled Argentina 53% of the time. Since 1984 peronism ruled the country 75% of the time. Since 1984 peronismo ruled Provincia de Buenos Aires 87.5% of the time....The results and achievements of peronism can be seen daily.....

Oct 22nd, 2015 - 06:37 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Peronism was taken down by a bloody, illegal coup d'etat by the armed forces which continued a tradition they had already started in 1930 and continued until 1976, of deposing constitutionally elected governments.
The armed forces were of course the executors of the politics of a reactionary Argentine oligarchy that for half a century prevented any progressive government (not only peronist) from steering the country towards economic independence and social justice.
And no amount of patching can cover that.

Oct 22nd, 2015 - 07:27 pm - Link - Report abuse 0The illegal coup d'etat tradition started in 1930 with the support of the church and conservative and nacionalist parties ending the liberal Argentina and starting the Nacionalist Argentina. Peron was part, he was Colonel, of the coup d'etat of 1930. Peronism was the political continuation of this coup d'etat.
The second presidency of J. D. Peron was an illegal government because the National Constitution was illegally changed. You cannot ignore this.
There were some people executed by those who organized the coup d'etat. This was clearly wrong but peronism took revange with the killings of Montoneros and Accion Argentina Anticomunista. Two bllody peronist organization that killed plenty of people during the '70. You cannot ignore this.
Would that be an.....inconvenient truth?

Oct 23rd, 2015 - 01:44 am - Link - Report abuse 0I will agree with you on one thing: too much blood was shed between 1930 and 1983 in Argentina.
However, the country has come a long way since then, by establishing a more stable democracy, thanks to men such as former president Alfonsin in the 1980s.
Democracy is now well established in Argentina.
Many of those who, usurped the state and used its resources to kidnap, torture and murder fellow country people in the 1970s have been prosecuted, convicted, and are now behind bars.
On Sunday the country will again exercise its right to elect a new government.
That, to me, is enough to celebrate.
THE BOMB THAT NEVER EXPLOTED.
Oct 23rd, 2015 - 04:08 pm - Link - Report abuse 0Next sunday we are going to choose a new president, but without suffering any of the social and economic calamities that some of those cretins called economists, who are usually invited by our hegemonical press, have warned for the country since 2003.
This should be criticised also by those hypocrites who often complain about the denounces of corruption cases that involve C. F. K's administration only, and who dare to give us lessons of democracy.
The only one thing that those rabbles have done, was to scare people, with the purpose of getting social acceptance for the reactionary policies that destroyed this country for decades, in fact, they repeated once and again that if the government didn't do a hard cut on our national budget, then the economy was going to suffer a catastrophic crisis, beside, they used to say something similar in relation to our conflict with the vultures, in fact, they tried to make us believe that if C. F.K's government didn't comply with the usurious rulling of an adict judge like Griesa, then the bomb was going to explote soon, now my question is, have you heard the noice?, i ask you this because if after more than one year of Griesa's decision, our economy is growing, then it shows clearly that it would have been an absolut imbecile decision to pay those sons of a bitch what they pretended, instead of defending our two debt restructurings.
If in this conflict there was a monolitic posture by all politic parties, as it happens with the malvinas cause, perhaps the vultures accepted to charge what all the rest of holders got, however they insisted on their posture, because they heard that those imbeciles called conservatives (Macri, Massa, etc), manifested that they will comply with Griesa's decision, or with something too similar, if they win the election, now they don't say it anymore, because they know it's a too stupid mistake.
Ultra low carbon footprint transport of ballot boxes to isolated Argentinean communities....

The corollary of that is that other times you don't and the inference is that most of the time you don't.

I think you mean:- The bomb that never exploded
Now, where is YankeeBoy when you need him? He saw this coming and he did warn you. You didn't listen to him then and I'll bet you wouldn't listen to him now.
Where ever he is I bet he'll be saying something like:-
I don't want to say I told you so but I did
and
Damn!! I just hate being right all the time
Still, all that matters is that you think that KFC has done a GREAT job for argentina.......oh well, fools never differ.
He's still around .....read some fine print.
