More of the Argentine taxpayers money being wasted on stupid events that won't change a thing.

In the meantime children are still starving to death in Argentina. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Bit behind the times with their “Malvinas marathon” - thickos - but then they are Argentine politicians and fantasists.

been an Internationally recognised Marathon each year in the Falkland Islands
for several years now! Hell we even had an Argentine win it I think a few years ago.

    LOL

Will be fun to read this rubbish and spot how many mistakes, errors and omissions.

Want to bet they quote multiple NON-binding UN resolutions...

But fail to quote the one binding resolution ordering Argentina to remove it's military forces from the Falklands.

    As an aside...

Hot air soon to be available in print.
My God, these Argentines are progressing fast.
What a complete & utter waste of time & resources.
Tierra del Fuego my well be the capital of the malvinas islands……however, where are these mythical islands?
Maybe in a lake somewhere up in the Andes? no?
Once again, these RGs are not to be taken seriously.

    The problem Argentina has...

Let me re-phrase this, Argentina has MANY problems.

However the decision they made some time ago to marginalize the People of the Falkland Islands , has put Argentina in a really difficult position.

By constantly referring to the Falkland islanders in disparaging terms, failing to recognize their fundamental human rights as set out by the UN for self determination, Argentina just looks like a stupid bully.

The problem is for Argentina to treat the Islander normally would mean having to admit they were and are wrong.
Something the current Argentinian government is incapable of doing.
They seem to think everything that is wrong with Argentina is someone else's fault.

So anyone want to guess how many outright lies and falsehood will be in the missive?

The utter, UTTER BASTARDS, another Pamphlet and Bi-lingual this time.

Surely there is a UN convention on the indiscriminate leaflet littering of civilian populations, those poor Argys.

Now they have got to learn English as well.

“Looking forward to this, must be similar to the bible.”

Whilst the bible is the archetypal 'fairy story' from start to finish, the pamphlet will be nothing other than deliberate argie lies. Far sinister than the bible.

    @ 14 gordo1
“What ever happened to the Virgin of the Malvinas?”

Which one, the one supposedly 'shot by a rifle' at the argie cemetery on the Falklands that turned out to be a hammer or the one of myth as far as the argie RCC are concerned?

In reality the same for both: they are fantastical and not to be believed.

    “Malvinas is argentina”

So Argentina is now to be known as the Malvinas?

That's OK because your country is partial to Sour Grapes and therefore it would be an excellent idea to call Argentina, Sour Grapes.

    Fits perfectly.

@16. Sorry to have to correct you. There's a place called “Malvinas”. It's in Cordoba. As with the rest of argieland, it's shit. Here's the way it works. You're shit. You dribble shit. The Falkland Islands are supported by Britain. Britain has the weaponry to turn argieland into glazed dust. Forget all the “liberal” wannabes. Britain can launch whenever it wants. There is no country in the world that can stop it. There's no American “block”. The United Nations has nothing. Did argieland pay attention? Nor will Britain. Watch the skies!

It will say something new.. never herd before like ”Las Malvinas son Argentinas porque las heredamos de España (Invoking Argentine colonial past to colonise the Falklands with a different culture, language everything) and they will also say “Las Malvinas son Argentinas porque estan en la plataforma” ( invoking that they are on the continental shelf which makes the Falklands belong to Argentina but not Argentina belong to the Falklands !) ... They will forget to mention the 1850 peace treaty which recognises the legality of the UK occupation reflected in the Argentine maps up to about 1940, time when the treaty was observed and before the fascists tore it up and went back on Argentina's word.

If it has to be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for approval doesn't that mean that they regard the FI as 'foreign' and therefore NOT Argentine? or am I just applying logic where none exists?

    @24 darragh

“If it has to be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for approval doesn't that mean that they regard the FI as 'foreign' and therefore NOT Argentine? ”

What you say is logical. Surely if Argentina believe the tripe that the Falklands are theirs and the inhabitants Argentine, they would gain slightly more credence by having the Falklands dealt with by someone representing the Argentine mainland (not by their foreign ministry).

There is also a case for the Home Office dealing with the BOTs.

Aren't the LATAM countries all hermanos, united against Britain, according to the Trolls like Nostrils/Brassiero, and the Argie Foreign Office??

Just this week, I was in Cuba, great pals with Venzla and the Bolivarian Revolution countries. And yet, all the tourist souvenirs produced in Cuba, with maps of the Americas on them, labelled in Spanish, also very clearly labelled the islands off the coast of Argentina as the “Falkland Islands”.

I suppose they just aren't taking the Malvinas charade seriously, either.

    :-)

    @26

No I don't regard NI as a 'foreign' country but then I don't regard the rest of the UK as a 'foreign' country either mostly because I don't need a passport to go there nor to live there and likewise a citizen of the UK doesn't need a passport to come and live here and UK life and society is very, very similar to Irish society and life..

I doubt that you've met an Irishman or woman in your life let alone 'lots' of them. I also doubt you've ever been within 5,000 miles of Ireland or the UK.

Although I take it from your comment that you are referring to those pathetic (now mostly elderly) Irish nationalists who blame Britain for everything bad that has ever happened in Irish history even though we have been independent for very nearly 100 years. They are every bit as idiotic as Scottish nationalists and Argentine nationalists who keep bleating on about 1833.

When I hear the word 'nationalist I always mentally add the word 'social' between the 'l' and the 'i'.

Save your “British Affinity” for those that deserve it....
Your country never declared war on Nazi Germany or Japan or anyone... whilst the UK stood up to Nazi aggression your country remained neutral....
When America and Europe needed allies...you turned your back.....with self preservation in mind....
You have even refused to join NATO.....
You are a foreign Country that cannot be relied upon in a crisis....
    So zip it Paddy.....
