Just getting ready to go to my local Remembrance Parade. Hopefully the rain will keep off for the duration of the ceremony, but regardless, it's a chance to quietly reflect and give thanks to all those who gave their lives in the cause of freedom.

To all our friends in the Falklands I hope your Remembrance service goes well.

    The UK:
The worlds only global power (US is the only global superpower)
    The worlds top soft power

    Be proud

Just got back from the Remembrance Service. The weather behaved and it went off without a hitch.

I hope the Falklands ceremony goes as well.

For our Argentine friends try this link to see how you should commemorate those who have fallen.

A bit of a soggy and grey day here in the UK but Remembrance Sunday should be (and was) observed with quiet humility and grace regardless of the weather and nay-sayers
