Oh no! The British are militarising the South Atlantic by sending a 65 year old woman to have a look around!!!! Whatever will Argentina do?

Oh, Mercopress editor, hate to be picky, especially after you took so many pains to remove the 'Prince' Anne story, but you got the year of her birth wrong.

Princess Anne was born on the 15 August 1950, not 1959.

A mere fraction of the responsibilities and public attention, and all you can eat at the workers expense.

All the pro's and minimal cons.

Oh dear, now that the blessed Cristina is departed - no not suicided - all we have left here are the Argentine Trolls shouting in the wilderness with no one left to hear them. We have all left as the battle was won, again, ... switch off the lights guys when you go.

If we don't mind why should you. Would we rather have fat Max, his haridan of a mother or any of the current self seeking crooks you have in Argentina...NO.

You pay taxes? You must be one of the very few in your country to do so.
Do you pay ALL that you are due or do you follow the Latam method of keeping most of it under the bed.

For an ignorant bum like you who does not have grasp of English vocabulary, let me explain, although it's tiresome for me.

A Princess is the daughter of a Queen. Unless she inherits the title of Queen on her mother's demise, she will remain a Princess all of her life.
Not to difficult to understand is it ? However as you are woefully short in the field of comprehension, I doubt it.

    I wish I was funded.
I probably should be remunerated for my time on this site at some stage.
    (Macri are you watching)

And an award for enlightening and civilizing this place, putting some order and adult debate into what was a wild poo throwing frenzy when I first happened upon this dire pamphlet.

5 - I never cried for or against Cristina. Show me a single post where I did.
As far as I can see, she fully served her term despite the wishes of many in here. She won.

Also, don't expect any Christmas presents from Macri.

Anyway, return to your work station immediately - Golden toilets dont just magically appear.

Every country supports a ruling class in some manner and to some degree.

The UK's is just more transparent in its existence, doesn't find the need to hide wealth (legitimate or illegitimate) and leaves the state with most assets for the next generation.

106 members of China’s National People’s Congress and 97 members of Chinese People’s Political Consultative Congress have a combined wealth of $US463.8 billion.

    BILLION

That averages over US$2 billion..... EACH. And this is in a country that has the 21st century equivalent of serfs and subsistence farmers.

The Queen's personal wealth is about half a billion. She'd be one of the paupers in China's Congess.

The UK's head of state is also kept much more cheaply than the last US presidential election which cost as estimated US$2 billion.

There is no such thing as a free head of state. They all costs money.

But is it value for money?

You South Americans do show your ignorance on here. The Royal family bring in 45 billion pounds to the UK economy, the net benefit of which is 26 billion pounds a year.

26 billion pounds a year net profit after all their costs are deducted. The question you have to ask yourselves is this; what was the one thing President Xi wanted to do when he visited the UK, the most important thing?

He wanted to ride in a gold carriage with the Queen. That my friends is why we keep our Royal family and have 26 billion each year net profit dropping in to the coffers.........kerching!

14 - That 45 billion ... Unlikely. Palais de versaille takes in more money than buckingham palace, and its 100% monarchy free. Tourists never meet royals, and never expect to.
They go photograph a building. Just like the Acropolis, tower bridge or leaning tower.

What did Xi want most: To do some serious diplomatic business with serious people who've studied and worked and walked a thin line for a long time I'd imagine.
Something tells me that without contracts for billions of pounds and government contracts and international politics he might have skipped the trip.

I doubt the context of some figures given in here.

15 - the sources in your link are dubious to say the least, but thats to be expected from a site called royalcentral. Something tells me it might be a bit one sided.

    Sources included:
    - a poorly translated tabloid report on a dead Polish president from years back.
    - a labor/labour union report cited in an Italian tabloid.
    - an index page from a .gov site (same govt sworn to uphold the individual in question).
    - a single report cited in a cheap tabloid who's slogan and logo are an English soldier holding a Georges cross shield and a promise to get GB out of the EU.

Happy to debate con-monarchy vs republic single point by single point.

    En garde.

    What is the 'cut-off age” ? 5/15/25/55/65/95?

Outside of the Disney films that you watch every day?

You should try living in the real world, it is actually more interesting.

(... and you might even get laid more often...)

Vestige has never presented a coherent argument against the monarchy in the Commonwealth Realms.

Unsure why he thinks he will start now.

A permanent dislike of the British Royal family is hardly persuasive.

They go to photograph a Royal palace, not just a building, because of it's connotations with current Royalty. If you ask the public why they are there it's because it's the Queen's official residence and they may just see some coming and goings.
The Chinese are very conscious of “face”. Travelling with the Queen in a golden coach gives Xi kudos back home. Very few get the chance to do this.
It shows the Chinese people how important he and China are...and they love bling.
They photograph and visit Versaille because of it's Royal connections. Wise up

Anyway, the British royalty have nothing to do with you. If you help pay for it, you can have a say.
You have your own royalty with Ms.K and the heir apparent FAT MAX.
They have cost your country considerably more and almost brought it to ruin

As usual you are wrong, that ride in the carriage with the Queen was absolutely crucial to him, it was the only thing that he knew would restore his credibility at home and the only country on the planet he could it was in London with the Queen.
I was reliably informed that once the carriage ride was over he was utterly disinterested in the rest of the trip, the billions of investment deals he signed had already been agreed prior to his arrival and were pretty academic. It was a quid pro quo situation.

The moral of the story is having the Royal Family is a sound investment and 45 billion pound a year is what they generate for the UK economy.

your insult is vulgar, crass, and totally gratuitous.

What is worrying though, is the inherent insidious ageism that you display.

You are probably not even aware you are doing it, or if you are, you don't realize it is unacceptable.

It is disturbing to note that misogyny and ageism are two common traits of Trolls that purport to be from Argentina or SA.

    Is this a cultural trait?
