Former head of Petrobras' international sector Nestor Cervero has made a statement as part of his plea bargain, in which he says that Brazilian former president Lula a Silva gave him a job in 2008 as “recognition” for his help in repaying a R$12 million (US$3 million) loan considered fraudulent by police.     Somebody who is prepared to say what we all knew: LULA is the top of the corruption pile.

    Jail time coming? I doubt it he will pull some stunt to avoid that.

    Do Brazilian judges accept bribes? Do bear shit in the woods?

    If anyone knows, he (Cerveró (Brazil's Nestor K) does (that the 9-fingered toad is involved) ....when Judge Moro sentences him to 15 years in prison, he'll sing even more freely. On the other hand, he's only confirmed what everyone suspects. And wait until the Federal Police sink their teeth into the BNDES' corruption investigation....
