“Argentina wants to recover the space it deserves in the world, said Malcorra”
Various responses occur. Let's start with an assessment of how long argieland has been crap for. Would it be fair to start with 1930 and the Infamous Decade? Electoral fraud, persecution of the political opposition and generalised government corruption. A few years and argieland began its first attempts to recover the space it deserves. It started, and there were implications, when argieland decided to claim a large part of the British Antarctic Territory. It makes you wonder. Antarctica had been there for, at the least, hundreds of thousands of years. Argieland had never been there. Another country wanting to recover the space it deserves, Scotland, gave argieland a little meteorological station because it couldn't afford to run it. Suddenly, in the middle of a global war, argieland decided to claim a bit of Antarctica that already belonged to someone else. Next it decided to have a Dirty War. Makes you wonder why argies didn't bother with WW2. They could have learned from the nazis much sooner. But they tried to make up for it. In an operation reminiscent of the Gleiwitz incident, argieland landed a bunch of marines, posing as scrap metal merchants, on South Georgia. They'd have done better to become scrap metal merchants for real as argieland would soon have plenty of scrap metal. The outcome of that could have been foretold. After having been defeated, argieland reverted to the sneaky part of its character. It became very “friendly”. Unfortunately, Nestor couldn't keep it up. A few more years and he might have had a legitimate claim on some oil. Instead he got rotating British troops and warships. Cretina couldn't think of anything better and began digging the hole in which she will be buried.

Now, what sort of space does argieland deserve? Could it be a century-long job. Let's never forget when it's right to trust argieland.

HERE WE GO, HERE WE GO, HERE WE GO!

I honestly thought that the Peronist type arrogance of Argentina would disappear with the election of Macri. But, no, I was wrong - if this is NOT an arrogant statement then will somebody please tell me why.

Dump Malcontenta and try to find someone that can at least try to pretend like they aren't an actual economic anarchist.

Ole Catcher's Mitt Face would be better received a Communist Party Central Planning Committee Meeting than at Davos.

To clarify, I am not against negotiating trade as equals with other countries, for mutual benefit. But that is not usually the case in Argentina.

    7. Argentina has little anyone wants and it never lives up to their end of the agreement whether its a trade agreement or a bond.

To deserve a space, one must earn a space.

The space that Argentina deserves in the world is the space that it has earned: the main hall and principal exhibits of the International Museum of Arrogance, Mismanagement, and Corruption.

“if this is NOT an arrogant statement then will somebody please tell me why.”

I think you have not opened your mind to the new situation.

Bug-Eye and his wife, TMBOA, destroyed the position that Argentina used to have in the world by showing the country to be populated and run by a bunch of crooks, 15M of them to be exact, known as Peronistas. They are still there but not in government and the new guy has to deal with that as a fact.

“ “Expanding relations is the way to advance in the world community; we must generate trust, which we must win and this also means not accepting impositions”

Of course she had to say the last few words when you have the likes of MagnusMaster @ 7 claiming that they are selling out the country. No evidence of course but it sounds good to the crooks.

”She also pointed out that the fact that the presence of former presidential candidate who opposed Macri in the elections was seen as a strong signal that “Argentina is thinking, acting and has a distinct attitude”

This of course is a real gamble with Macri being TMBOA's puppet, but it plays well with sensible people and if Scioli does shit on the new government everybody except for the likes of MM will see it for what it is and how the Peronistas blew their chance.

““this does not mean returning to a model of carnal relations;”

I just love this comment putting TMBOA squarely in the frame in true cock-sucking 'bribery' to get what she wanted from the likes of Putin and the Chinks. Malcorra just confirmed what we all thought (except for you probably).

So, in conclusion, do you NOT agree that Argentina SHOULD take the position in the world that a country of 40M people, if run correctly and openly which seems to be the case so far, deserves?

I realise that you think of me as a 'buffoon' but I think I have adequately shown that you have clearly misunderstood what the new government of Argentina are about.

Stick to the RCC lies they claim, leave the rest to grown ups.

Just for a clarification, argieland deserves a 2m by 1m by 1m space. Per person. Or maybe somewhere bigger to take multiple corpses.

@10 I certainly didn't expect a reply from you. you ancient buffoon.

It is very evident that you know NOTHING about Argentina or the rest of Latin America so why don't you just go away - you don't even speak Spanish!

How you have the nerve to try and lecture me I cannot fathom - and to introduce, boringly, the “RCC” is just juvenile behaviour. You are a witless fool!

As usual from a deluded RCC 'believer', lots of insults but no actual response to my points.

This is of course due to the fact that I am correct in what I posted.

At least you 'converted' to the dreadful RCC when you were an adult: note I did not use the word 'mature', so you avoided being fucked in the arse by your 'RCC Father' as a child.

As for me not speaking Jibber-jabber, you did not know and I had to point out to you when I jokingly nicked you 'fatty' that it is the meaning of 'gordo' in the infamous Jibber-jabber.

“ How you have the nerve to try and lecture me I cannot fathom”

You asked the question and I answered it correctly, so somebody has to turn you 180deg around to stop you making a further fool of yourself.

Being a CONVERT to the RCC designates you as a half-wit, and you carrying on like this will get you 'promoted' to a nit-wit.

    @17 Buffoon

“This is of course due to the fact that I am correct in what I posted”. WRONG!

I cannot fathom how on earth the good people of Uruguay put up with your presence. You call their language “jibber jabber” and you frequently make disparaging remarks about that country and the rest of Latin America although I must say it appears doubtful that you know much about the rest of the sub continent including Argentina.

And your fixation with the RCC is beyond my comprehension unless, of course, YOU were f----d in the a--e at some time by a rogue priest and can't forget it.

Witless fool! Still, thanks for entertaining me! Have a good day - it's Sunday so you still have time to go to Mass and ask for God's guidance.

@11. I am having trouble interpreting your comment. Who are these “Americans” you refer to? “Americans”, for the most part, reside within the United States. They don't include the corrupt, criminal, dictatorial, kleptomaniac, licentious, mendacious, rapacious, undemocratic, vicious, xenophobic states of Central and South America.

“The thrives, liars and deadbeats have nothing to offer Americans - other than settling up, which they are too broke to do.”

Last figure I've seen is that you crooks owe 20 billion. So settle up!

Still haven't posted WHY I am wrong. Do you even understand the article because it doesn't seem so?

As you know I am an atheist and realise that there is no 'god', certainly not one of the apple and snake and all the smiting and death and destruction!

As for JC he, if he existed though it seems he may have done, must be turning over in his grave (the cave) due to the elaborate lies that the RCC have invented on 'his' behalf. All the gold, all the rules that keep poor people and deluded idiots like you in their thrall. They are the best shysters there has ever been and that's saying something.

Anyway, enough of this jollity, keep your feeble RCC based advice for yourself and if you reply try to answer the questions I put to you for a change.

“I am not against negotiating trade as equals with other countries”

No doubt you will trade with Spain-they are your equal. They don't stick to treaties they have signed, need baling out from the EU, and were more than happy to see YPF nationalised. And like you they want to bully populations smaller than themselves.

    A match made in heaven.

    @20 ChrisR

It seems to me that before attempting to bully a way into this debate you really should learn something about Argentina, especially its history - the evidence so far is that you know very little. And to describe the Spanish language as “jibber jabber” is absurd - what offensive fellow you are.

    @ 23 Alejo

Ah, an argie trying the old dodge of ignoring facts!

How have I 'bullied' my way into 'this' debate? Have you even read my post at 10 above, it seems not, or are you a supporter of TMBOA?

I have read something about the 'history' of Argentina and what a depressing history it is too. Why is it that Argentina has always lied about what has happened to it, is it too ashamed to tell the truth particularly what happened from the rise of Peron and his whore until now?

As for the language, PLEASE, are you so bereft of intelligence that you think having 12,292 verbs in the OFFICIAL language plus who knows how may more in the Argentine version of what passes as a language is something to defend?

Yes, I can read Jibber-jabber quite well but who can understand the many, many dialects unless they have been indoctrinated in the crap since birth.

Why is it that my Argentine friends nearly all speak English, could it be because they understand for themselves that Jibber-jabber is for losers?

Why is it that Argentina has the most speakers of English on the whole continent, including YOURSELF, could it be that they are better understood in business and in matters demanding clarity?

“What an offensive fellow you are” is that because YOU are an RCC 'believer' by any chance and you need to come to the defence of the indefensible?

Do you really imagine that your little missive has fooled anybody, I bet you do?

@24 “.... in the Argentine version of what passes as a language...”

Did you know that in the prevailing Lunfardo-laced porteño dialect that there are 219 terms that are the rough English equivalent of “thievery” yet not a single term that could be accurately translated as “honesty” ?

When I submit a cotización for translation from Argento to English, the billing is based on the number of Spanish words, which is typically about 20 percent higher than the eventual English word count. It seems that it takes an argento an enormous number of words to communicate something than can be much more efficiently and compactly related in English.

Así que ¿De qué nacionalidad es usted?

My Argentine friends now total 8 around where I live and 5 in MVD and very nice people they are too, unlike yourself.

    @ 25 Marti Llazo

Yes, I had seen the 'honesty', or lack of it before on another website. Can't say I was surprised.

Your final paragraph is exactly what I was claiming.

I have a number of Uruguayo contacts (now friends) who I have helped with XL whilst they are / were at University and they prefer to speak English because it is so well structured compared to Jibber-jabber.

One young lady, qualified early in 2015 as an economist and has a great job in MVD can speak Spanish (of course), English, Portuguese, Italian and she has just come back from Canada having started the final session of French, paid for by her employer. She, her mother and three brothers prefer to speak English when they are at home and who can blame them?
